I'm sure Jacques Pepin's way is delicious! 😊
Jacques shows us a unique way of making fried eggs — that is cooking it at a low temperature so that the white stays very tender and the yolk is running lightly, and the top is glazed. Happy Cooking!

I can’t stand it when the white is a raw film across the yolk and raw jelly across the rest of the white ugh

So funny that even with something as simple as a fried egg there is a method. I learned to fry eggs crispy style but there is always the spooning oil over them to avoid raw egg whites on top. This way seems so much simpler and i can’t wait to try it.

Sunny side up, not an American fried egg.
@bartmix8994Damn… he’s good
@piglettiSorry, Jacques I like my fried eggs with a little crispy around the edges
@jjfarisAs a child I lived for the crusty edges.😅😅😅
@Kevin-w8q6bExcept for the chives, that's how my Great Grandma fried her eggs. Nice.
@Timothy_SchenksOk 78yr guy this works for ,me T-Fal pan spray gee pop the egg in on low 2 or 3 min I then turn off the gas cover with a plate for 2 min
@philcass-m7wIt’s amazing how many people cook eggs until they’re brown and rubbery…yuck
@tallmanjim11Looks like a poached flat egg with butter… to each his own. I prefer crispy edged. Remove the yolk, whip the white. Fry at high heat. Add yolk back for a few seconds before removing.
@Yankee7000I'm with him. I don't like the crispy egg whites.
@aronyak1Spare me one more egg lesson, even from the lovable M. Pepin. There are dozens (no pun) ways to cook eggs. I like mine crisp, cooked in olive oil. So what? "Again, a question of taste maybe" as master Jacques says. The French didn't invent eggs or cooking, just complicated and mystified them.
@davidfusaniNice fresh eggs 😊
@debbieroberts76Dang! Sad to say that I’m 69, love to cook and just now learned how to fry an egg 😐
