To be fair and honest, the Chinese men's volleyball team did make it directly to the final because of the current rules. Without problem at all. Whether that rule should be changed is a whole other conversation. But if I were on that team, I wouldn’t hold the final again for a while. It’s because… the gap in skill right now is just way too big.

On a side note, I've also seen some people mentioning that the Japanese team had no time to practice. They're specifically talking about the day of the match, the 29th, and how they surprisingly didn't get any practice time at all. I did notice that the video clips going around are actually from the 28th, though. As for why they couldn't practice on game day and ended up just staying in the locker room the whole time? Honestly, I'm not really sure the reason behind
