Jeddah Tower: How to Finish the World's Tallest Building

Video Overview & Insights

Will Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Tower ever rise 1 kilometre above the desert?

If this comment gets 1,000 likes, I will personally fly to Jeddah and finish this skyscraper myself.

For what America just spen on the Iran war we could have built 100 of these towers, 2 for every state.

Best part is
1. Make present building in 3 parts.
2. Lower the top 40 stories on ground. In 1st phase. Settle the phase on ground.
3. In 2nd phase lower the another 40 stories adjacent to 1st 40 stories. Settle the second phase on ground.
4. Remain is perfect tower leave as it is.
So Burj Khlifa-1, 2, 3. Would be 3 new tower.
Same could be still used for occupant need.

Doesn't $1.2 billion sound like a little, considering the building will be over a mile in height? Football stadiums here in the U.S. cost wayyyyyyyyyy over $1.2 billion.

Remember, this is what people will look back at a thousand years from now and consider evidence of a second Islamic golden age. Living through it, what do we know the reality to be? All they have is oil money. They get non-muslims to do all the real work. All the engineering, all the design, all the management. Just like the first 'golden age', but back then it was the wealth of conquest that they had. Why do they need to get others to do it? Because when your religion strangles your mind with lies, you cannot think freely enough to be truly efficient, effective, or inventive.

Tall buildings like that need to include steerable, ballistic parachutes for residents and visitors.

when u have the whole dessert why would u building vertically

@kaniman68
@

why would you invest so much into going up, when you have an entire empty desert you could expand out into?

@writtenplague
@

Well it’s been over 2 years, so has the construction restarted? 😃 (I’m too lazy to look it up myself)

@ImBarnacleBill
@

Apparently it’ll be finished sometime 2025-2028, you may want to do a short, video on it ( update )

arab states and their obsession with showy vanity projects like these megaconstructions is really a theft from its future generations, where the considerable oil wealth is not invested in proven, durable socioeconomic developments like education, healthcare, and social benefits but instead siphoned off to entertain foreign billionaires. all this hedonism is also only enabled by exploitation of migrant workers. this is a building channel so its not expected that this unsavory aspect is discussed, but it's inextricably linked to the grandiose scale of these projects that drives interest to them.

The observation deck should have a device you can poop into that feeds the birds

@convoy-73
@

At some point, there will be an accident, due to the extreme height. Then laws will be instituted regarding how high you can build. Save some trouble, and institute the laws now

@AnnaMishel

😮😮😮😮 what

@axelbello9777
@

its not quite as tall as advertised...the highest occupied floor is the observation deck...the rest is just an empty shell...similarly with the top ⅓ of the burj khalifa...

As of July 2025 construction has resumed. Hopefully it will be completed this time.

I'm honestly pretty shocked it was only estimated to cost 1.2 billion. I would expect at least 10-20 billion if not more for something this insane

All vanity nonsense, none of it makes any economic sense whatsoever. Artificial islands? Bust! Jeddah Tower? Bust! Linear city? Bust! These people have all of the money and none of the brain. Once the oil runs out, they'll sink back into poverty and be forgotten forever.
