Linda Noskova defeated Jessica Pegula 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the 2026 Berlin Final, winning her second WTA singles title on grass. The match was a sharp tactical battle between Noskova’s explosive first-strike power and Pegula’s steady, intelligent counter-punching.
Noskova started strongly by using her serve as a weapon, opening the court with wide deliveries and following up with aggressive groundstrokes. Pegula responded in the second set by stepping closer to the baseline, redirecting pace, keeping the ball low, and forcing Noskova into uncomfortable rallies. However, in the final set, Noskova adjusted her serve placement, added more margin to her shots, and stayed mentally composed under pressure.
The key moment came when Noskova earned the only break of the deciding set with clean, fearless ball-striking. Pegula’s main weakness was that she became slightly more passive on return in the third set and failed to punish Noskova’s second serves when opportunities appeared.
Overall, Noskova won because she trusted her aggressive identity, served brilliantly in clutch moments, and recovered mentally after losing the second set.
