This month, Joe Bonamassa talks about the utterly unique Tommy Bolin 1960 Gibson Les Paul. It took him a decade to find this guitar, which makes it the object of his greatest “guitar safari” of all time!
Nice find but I want his Explorer guitar more than this Les Paul. Who has that?
Probably it's in Rick's collection since he loves Explorer guitars. (Cheap Trick)

@billyshane3804I can honestly say I'm truly honored I got to jam with Tommy's brother Johnnie Bolin and his DVC bandmate and Tommy's friend John Bartle right before Johnnie passed.
Tommy is an absolute legend and his legacy needs to stay alive. In my opinion just as good or even better than Hendrix.

That had to be a pretty freaking gigantic jar of pennies, and kind of tacky, in my opinion, to pay him in coins. Carrying all that change out to the desert is probably what killed him.
