I think we should still try to save money. I know we're all tired of this, but 20-30 million is definitely not an inconsequential amount of money. This back and forth reflects worse on Atletico than Barca tbh, so dragging it out hurts them more than us.

The main problem with continuing this saga with Julian is that we're not committing much time/resources to other players and positions. However, if this release clause is true, then we can earmark 150 million for Julian and focus on other signings in the meantime. That way, if Atletico agrees to a deal, great! And if not, okay, then trigger that clause.
