Man, the detectives have to have incredible patience to tolerate her slow paced soft sing-song voice. I would not have been able to sit through that interview. I would have had to have a coworker handle it.

@sogwap1949I think that detective did a bad job, he is bagging her to tell the truth, thats not how you do, you need to press her, hint her that other people are talking and if she doesn't they will pin everything on her, in an aggressive tone, not just like a fatherly tone bagging her.

@billchristian4759All that low whispery voice is annoying enough on its own merits, but itās doubly annoying from someone who had it in them to murder another human and then dismember their corpse. It makes me want to just slap her and tell her to knock it off.
And I know itās a tactic, but if I hear one more cop tell a suspect, especially a murderer, that theyāre ānot x bad personā, I think Iāll puke. If murder doesnāt make you evil, what on earth does?!

@pierresorin6771Firstly great video. Secondly this is one of the reasons why I'm a 29yr old behavioural child therapist. Ages 6 to 18 in the uk. I'm also in my last semester of uni furthering my career to be a child psychiatrist. I hope I'm helping "my kids" and their guardians as I want them to have a good life on their medication or without. I try my hardest and hope once they're of my care, which when they are I do check on them as their guardians talk to me occasionally and it is sad as I miss them as well, I do hope that I've helped the guardians and their children. As well as making an impact on their life so they don't go down the wrong path.

At 44:00, they could have just started with this at the beginning and antagonized her into submission. There is no science here, no psychology. She is a kid who is guilty but this is no psychological expertise here. "you are an honest person" really detective, she is? She has been lying for almost an hour!! If you get in trouble and your guilty, SHUT UP! Detectives are not sure friends. Get your day in court. i know my take is not popular but you never know what you might do....
