Reminder that the following season this ravens team became an all time great defense and Warner did this in his first start
@FBIStatMajorSure nice story about Kurt, but that team was Dirk Vermeil. This was his first season back into football after 15 years after leaving the Philly, that he rebuilt as well.
@kenpendergrass01Not to take anything away from Warner, but that SB winning team was above average to stacked. Two great receivers, a great dual threat RB and a great Oline.
@HookemFishingI guess that Scott Mitchell played for the Ravens? He was Dan Marino’s backup in Miami I believe when Dan tore his Achilles. Then Mitchell played really well for the Dolphins and I think Detroit traded for Scott, or Scott went there as a free agent. But when Mitchell was in Miami he looked like the real deal and I believe it didn’t exactly turn out that way. (We’re talking over 30 years ago so my memory is a bit hazy. I do remember when Marino tore his Achilles and I was crushed.)
@Washington-DreamingAt 1:28 that’s a great throw. I mean Kurt Warner just threw it early with touch to a spot and it was on the money.
@Washington-DreamingThe fact that Warner was stocking shelves at a grocery store not to long ago before his first NFL game is stuff of legend
@jaybrick8973just googled Kurt! he gave eli the nod and got fired for it! crazy how some people are awesome like that.
Not today this was back when people were educated/fierndly.
Arena football stars say nfl is in slow motion
@geologist1005Bruce, Holt, Faulk, Hakim, Proehl. So many weapons for Warner to throw to.
@kingwinnerNot one single “let’s goooo 🥴🥴🥴”
What a beautiful time
Who called this game? Sounds like Gus…
@rapid13I feel like his story shows how bad scouting use to be. Or at least could be.
@samuelkobeThey featured it in American Underdog.
@Powerranger-le4up5:35 pick laser DOTTTT, i mean DOTTTTED.
@YoungDryas2:28 used to run that play in flag. But I'd shovel to the TE, had 10+ passing and 15+ rushing TDs that year, no big deal...not me bragging on childhood accomplishments
@YoungDryasKurt is da man
@jerrysharpnack6266To do this against the Ravens defense is absolutely amazing in your first NFL start.
@nigelKDevildog9278Bruce!!!!!
@twagnRams should have stayed in st louis
@Roger-mk4bsKurt Warner was the man.
@KateKearney-p2eWho’s here after watching American Underdog?
@dpoon1987Nice no look pass to Bruce near the end of the half. How was Kurt's talent so overlooked seems insane.
@vvyolvwhen the NFL was still football
@chrislenz6634"TransWorld Dome". 😂
@glennhubbard5008Hey Coach, I think we got a QB!
@BM-wx9qhNever seen a ball spiked with over 1 minute left in a quarter
@jakewaldman6243The 100 yard indoor war!
@jdoyle7768When football was worth watching.
@paulcaviglianoWhat was Scott Mitchell's nickname?
@Stardate1312.4Mike Martz ruined Warner
@JimKeepOnTruckingSt Louis Rams!
@fistandsteelI know it was a different time but spiking the ball on the opponent's 2 yard line with a full minute to go in the first half is nuts.
@markula_4040Who knew the rams played in LA , kroenke is a criminal
@Marqk-nothing better than seeing Brian Billick with a sour look on his face
@mrexcitement8222Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce!!!!!
@JS-qw4lnGus Johnson was a lot better back when he didn't make every 1st down sound like a game winner.
@GoHerd2001Rams have a whole minute to go in the half and waste a down spiking it at the 2 yard line? Lol
NFL used to have some weird thought processes lol
Should be a movie!
@perserverance333Fans were crushed when Trent green got hurt. Who knew what would transpire
@gman9035I drove to St Louis to see him play. They beat us. Go CHIEFS!
