A very frustrating game to watch. Every time there was an Atletico counter attack there was a foul and instead of allowing them to play advantage during a very promising attack the referee called them back and allowed Real Madrid to reset their defence.

This happened repeatedly and he didn't even card the Real players for the repeated cynical fouling.
