A Tour of Denmark's Nordsøen Oceanarium which holds the title of the largest aquarium in Northern Europe. It contains the single largest tank in Scandinavia with 4.5 million liters of seawater, and exhibits the world's largest bony fish, the Mola Mola (Sunfish) with over 6,500 fish in total. The aquarium is a popular tourist destination located on the shores of the North Sea in Hirtshals, Denmark.

i visited this place a lot when i was younger. the camera does not do the scale justice.
@TautanAuthorizedI used to go to Denmark a lot, but then they closed Christiania and now I pick other countries. And sadly this aquarium was unknown to me at the time..

@Niki_Roblox_gamerI’m a lobster fisherman in Maine, we see sun fish all summer long.. urban legend says sunfish can leap out of the water. I know some that have witnessed this, I haven’t, I couldn’t imagine them getting any air out of the water

As someone who lives in a town very close to this, it surprises me so much that people are baffled by this, cuz this is a place i’ve been to this place like 5 thousand times(and still go there) and it doesnt even feel big to me

@hartlysandberg526People might be interested to know that in the summertime you can rent summerhouses on the west coast of Denmark (look up Blokhus, Løkken, Grønhøj, Rødhus) with panorama views out over the north sea, the weather is actually lovely in the summer in Denmark, and then you will be close to this Aquarium and many other attractions, including a massive amusement park called Fårup. Its one of the best places in the world to go on family holidays, and there is an international airport in the nearby city of Aalborg.
