Learn Java Object-Oriented Programming (with actual code)

Video Overview & Insights

Learn everything about object-oriented programming in Java. This is part 2 to the world's shortest Java course that I created out of pure spite, because no Java course is complete with talking about OOP.

Goated video!!!!

world's shortest Java course (prequel to this video): https://youtu.be/b5l5UodFzMo

So here it is, an OOP course for a programming language that'll actually get you a job.

To the point. Great work!

Brother, your teaching method is the best: "Here are the basics of understanding knowledge; now get to that sea and try to swim to the other shore," and actually, this is the best way. I would like to admit that you are a real knight; you earned my respect!

I haven’t coded anything in Java since 2019 and needed a refresher. This did wonders for me, thank you!!

30 minutes to summarize like 12 hours of content , awesome mate.

I really, really like how Java is structured. I don't know any other OOP languages but this one like the syntax, the OOP and all of this like I really understand much better then say C or C++ or C# or Python. Omg tho Python is so confusing 😅 I don't get that language at all lol.

I have a uni assignment on this, was stuck in tutorial hell with multi hour long courses.

However with this I watched, paused, wrote down and re-watched many times.
My program slowly built as your examples of inventory, items etc. was easy to relay to my work and I got a working program.

What's also super useful is you explain WHY you're doing something, like what 'this.' means.
It means I can add comments to my code, explaining what each part does and saves just writing random code I don't understand.

I was used to Python, Typescript and database designs so this whole idea was a completely different way to think about things.

The only reason I didn't get this in class was due to illness, despite persevering to be in class it's only now that I've 'got it'.

Thank you so, so much.

Arrays can't store objects? 4:10 I am pretty sure they can. Am i wrong?

There is alot of areas where I got lost it. There were times you have wrote codes in line items that never was shown. You were also a bit fast on teaching this. I could always hit slow playback but it was still hard to catch what you are saying and showing.

Why is Java so complicated :,) Great video and probably the best video out there, but my brain exploded in the polymorphism section.

What a gem! You got great flow and you keep people focused. 👏 Switched to Java a while back for game and web development. That being said, it's probably the best pivot I've done with the most robust and intuitively enough, mature ecosystem. Keep up!

This videos are the best for people with knowledge in programming and want to learn fast without garbage info and make the transition to Java. Perfect man thank you.

Love this video. Started working with Java for a little while and I skipped learning all this stuff just cramming what things do. But this explained so much and made a lot of things make sense. Thank you so much.
