Thailand has great infrastructure ?
No it doesn't.
Unless you fly from one place to another the roads are not great. Railways are not great.
Thailand is local. Bali is not local.
This guy has no idea Bali is not a country.

0:00 – Intro (don't skip)

0:37 – Cost of Living

I went to that park recently! I just got back from Thailand. I married a Thai woman, it was great, we have been married for 8 years but we are getting divorced. But I would love to retire in Thailand.

2:22 – Making Friends, Community, Network

4:38 – Weather, Pollution, Climate

I moved to Switerland to Japan 6 years ago. Once you change a country once, you quickly realize the limitation of each system. If I hadn't had this experience, I would be more motivated to move to Thailand, but moving to a country that had many coup d'etat .... Mmmm it makes me hesitant.

5:44 – Peace, Safety, Quality of Life

8:41 – Healthcare in Thailand

Sounds nice except the weather. I can't stand the hot weather and the sun in general.

— @radoslavmilev4896

10:41 – Ease of Travel

11:20 – Dating

I don’t think Thai people discriminate against foreigners at all. We actually have a lot of respect for them. 😊 We’re just a bit shy and not always confident with our English, so we sometimes stick with other Thai people. But we’re always happy to welcome visitors.😊

where is an expat community in Bangkok ? could you suggest please 🙏

im looking for moving to Thailand next year

Am i mistaken or the whole video is about how great and beautiful Thailand is! One thing that you mentioned is debatable which is the cost of living which depends on the person and his ability to adapt to changes. Inflation is real and it is worldwide.

Is 35000 bath enough montly ?
Whats the minimum for rent food and standard needs ?

I've lived in both Thailand and the US off and on and I agree with most of what you said except about covid. Restrictions in Thailand were far stronger than the US and people had firm views about it. In the u.s it really only became an issue when the Republican party politicized it.

The transport section really hits home. Most new expats default to Grab for everything, but once you combine BTS/MRT coverage with a motorbike for the last mile, your monthly costs drop significantly. How long did it take you personally to figure out the right combination?

$4000 a month? You could spend that in a year in other provinces in Thailand. Thailand, overall, isn't like that. Even Bangkok isn't like that. It's like that in the inner hi-so area. But not on average at all. Heck, $1000 is even more than enough for a decent life. You must be living very luxurious, huh?

Hmm....I think cost of living wise, OP forgot to mention Singapore and Hong Kong. Also once you leave the tourist area of Bangkok or go to other cities like Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai the cost can drop quite a bit.

Bangkok can offer something for every budget. The author decided to choose an expensive lifestyle, and now he complains that Bangkok is not cheap 😂

Memphis is considering one of the most affordable cities to live in the U.S and it is 45% more expensive than living in Bangkok

Any Asian location that has all these perks but not tropical 😭. I want to exit America as a Filipino American but cannot deal with heat. Definitely looking to relocate in the next couple of years because this country is definitely on the decline and will be unlivable unless ultra wealthy.

loll ..this guy is making the west out to be some kind of gangland with constant gunshots. i'm convinced he lived in an awful neighborhood or was hanging out with some weirdos who hardly touched grass. he's suffering from everywhere-but-hereism ..as in, it doesn't matter where he went, he will always say it's better elsewhere than where he came from.

Hi! I've been watching your videos on and off and have enjoyed all of them. I have a question about Safety Wing. Does the health insurance cover the United States? I understand that a lot of companies do not include the U.S. because health insurance is so expensive there.

@Fran-bo2qu
@

Thailand is still cheap by western standards. Alot of guys below are saying singapore, problem is most foreigners can’t get a job in Thailand and don’t speak Thai at a business level. guys in singapore, especially those at senior levels in MNCs are making alot more money though, even though costs are higher. also public healthcare is way better in singapore. if you own a remote business, Dubai is a better place as there is no/less income tax and corproation tax.

I don't understand Paul.............................. In your cost of living in Bangkok video just 2 months ago, you talked about how an expat can live can live very comfortably in a luxury condo for between $1,500 to $2,500 a month.............. Now you are saying it costs $4,000 A MONTH................ Where has this extra increase of $1,500 in expenses come from in just 2 months in Bangkok??????????????

@autoangel1111

Paul, what do you think about Ashton Silom?
