What are the real odds of the impossible? From a man struck by lightning seven times to the chances of becoming an astronaut or a billionaire, probability shapes our lives in surprising ways. This video dives into famous paradoxes, shocking statistics, and myths youâve always believed but science proves wrong.
Discover why youâre more likely to be crushed by a vending machine than attacked by a shark, how the âbirthday paradoxâ confuses our intuition, why dinosaurs probably had feathers, and what the Fermi Paradox reveals about alien life. Weâll also break down how much of your life is actually yours to live, what money really means for happiness, and why the odds of you even being alive are astronomically small.
What are the odds of getting killed by a vending machine when youâre in the ocean??

If you think about everything in the universe and life, including being born, everything is miraculous, even the bad things... I could write a book, but I won't. But think about it. There must be a greater power controlling everything. I doubt it was just me being lucky. And if that greater power can control those huge and super important outcomes (like the size of the universe and having humans here on this planet and all of us being born), it must easily be able to control all the small things. It's mathematically obvious. So nothing we do should really matter because our lives are insignificant compared to what would be possible for the one who created us. I don't mean that in a negative way or from resentment or anything, but we couldn't achieve more in a million lifetimes than the creator could in a millisecond, so the only point of life must be to be living it like an exam or a way of building ourselves up by learning things and growing. The only thing we can control is our thoughts and their intentions because at some point, our bodies will fail every last one of us. Only our decisions regarding our feelings and our thoughts will be ours alone to control. To me, everything seems intentional and planned except for the outcomes. They're up to the decisions we make in our minds with what we have. I'll stop there because now everything starts becoming open-ended. I think it's God, but I don't know.

So what Newton usually discover wasn't gravity fall at all, for thats common knowledge. It's the Cosmic fool. Was space designed to fool? That's interesting to know when St. Paul taught by Christ and the wisdom imparted. So Sentry is internal

If youâre curious about paradoxes, probability, lifeâs biggest questions, and the science behind our existence, this video will change the way you see the world.
Hahahaha... I had to laugh at the odds of being a gutter king. Oops...sorry, a President of America. A Gutter King that sits in a plastic throne for a few years and be-lie-ves he is the ruler of the world. Lolol.
Oh... I have no doubts that there are a million whackos that be-lie-ve, who dream of being a Gutter King. But it ain't me. That's for sure. đ

My brain hurts but in that satisfying way after a good stretch. The 'you have to be cruel to be kind' one has been arguing with my therapist for years
@HypothetixChannelwe can do it but we fear to do it.
@TransfinityPrimeI think, what we are very proud of life, existence is just a mere fraction of time in universal timeline we exist and also non exist at the same time humanity will be doomed one day no matter how much we try we will not make it.
@myvlogs-e5yContext matters. 1 in 10 million on what? Most people don't try to become president, the best statistic would be based on how many try vs succeed
@ShadowCiderContext matters. The odds of sharks attacking you are higher if you go swimming in the ocean rather than only staying on the beach at maximum
@ShadowCider1 occurance in x of a population does not mean everyone in that population has the same 1/x odds of occurance. go back to school
@suicideisokUnfortunately, the backing music masks the narration
@lnxguitI wanted to watch this, then after the umpteenth statistic I could no longer contain my rage. For the love of god it doesnt make you sound smarter, its the worst
@hinkleberrygaming239632:44 donât worry, bro I got you already did
@AFK-136God loves you

@Al-hp7lq67
@Treeboch1@18:52 like Linkin Park said, and in the End, it doesn't even matter
@Kiwi-wi4gyI love this video man thank you
@AurilianFarThe whole âchances of getting struck by lighteningâ figure is such BS. My chances of remaining outside during a lightening storm are zero.
@bellbeefus53371:10:01 Odds you exist is very interesting theme, but you are missing one fact, you are refering to "we" or "us" as a identity, but that identity is just a social construct "we" dont exist, obviusly we can believe in souls or purpose or religion which is great, but from a factual stand-point we are just a chemical reaction so the identity of "I" is not existented, our behaviours our thoughts our being is just a chemical reaciton that was shaped by society. That means those unreal odds arent needed, because is not choosing game, when you are trying to win a lottery you are choosing some numbers, but we are not the numbers, we are "nothing" we are just chemical reaction.....maybe.....:D
@aNc1estaWhen I'm thinking of checking out and then I see the thumbnail. Ok ok I get it...
@papabird4425I canât stop smiling, this was fantastic!
@jasitaangastaran-h5eI am willing to bet that the majority of people in the world are around more vending machines than sharks, however. More households have dogs for pets than sharks for pets too. The probability for getting crushed by a vending machine is much higher than getting killed by a shark because more people shake vending machines than people swim with sharks. In the same respect, more people antagonize dogs and are attacked than people antagonize sharks. These comparisons should be compared, unless we start shaking or antagonizing sharks.
@yeah_ImAFishThe chances of being hit by lighting are 1/500000. I had to stop this video as I canât rely that the rest of it isnât be made up bs.
@mightyossYouâre right. I shouldnât be alive.
@MilkTestingManHow many people travel by plane everyday and how many people travel by car everyday? There's your answer
@lucabrasi3964I love it when people say âyouâre more likely to die byâŚ.. than eaten by a sharkâ tell that to the guy that got eaten by a shark đđđđ tell them that itâs not likely. They have marathons on shows about shark deaths. I know two people that have been attacked by a shark
@dadegixxerWhen you say struck about lightning are you talking about a direct hit or running along the ground into your feet?
@mrcleanisinI don't mind a few commercials here and there but this video has too many. I'm skipping and going to another channel now.
@quentinbell5617So many wild odds in life!

@S0ldierSid3"You're more likely to be murdered by your government . . . . ." You don't have to convince me.
