My own personal opinion would be,if Liverpool are prepared to pay 100+million for Barcola,then i'd prefer Rayan for a similar amount.Mostly because Rayan has a better physicality than Barcola,meaning he's better equipped to cope with the physicality of the Premier League,plus i feel Rayan has lots more improvement in him.

I think we dodged a bullet with this guy. His goals numbers aren’t that high to justify transfer fee over 100 million, he hasn’t looked like a 100 million player at the World Cup. I’m tired of Bundesliga clubs demanding 100 million for players are completely unproven at an elite level. Buy Barcola who we have seen perform in the champions league and Rayan who has performed in the Premier League for same price Leipzig are asking for. The Bundesliga clubs think they are slick using media hype to ask for world class player fees for unproven players. After Wirtz i question the current quality of the Bundesliga and their players from that league. When that terrible Tottenham team that nearly got relegated thrashed Dortmund 3-0 in the champions league and Dortmund are second best team in that league, you have to ask are players from that league elite quality outside of Bayern.

Genuinely, the only pro Barcola has over Diomande is him being European so we don’t lose him during the AFCONs.

Diomande clears Barcola in the crucial aspects, speed, finishing, physicality and most importantly, composure. Added to that, Diomande is 4 years younger.

As much as I hate the situation, we got played by Diomande. Barcola simply doesn’t cut it for me. For the simple fact that PSG are willing to let Barcola go and sign Diomande.
