I have lived in this city off and on for probably 20 years. If you value peace, privacy, good mental health, good physical health, etc. Than don't move here. 2/3 of every resident here is obese, smokes cigarettes all day, drinks alcohol all day, etc. Drugs and homeless is all that is guaranteed here. There are WAY better cities around this region that are way better for families. Just don't make the mistake of coming here. You'll end up stuck here, just like all the Africans and Muslims that have taken over this city. Can't find a job anymore because of all these idiots! Lamar Jackson is trash 🗑!

I’ve been told to stay out of this city if visiting Kentucky same with Lexington. ‘Just stay near central Kentucky’. Any particular reasons? Some people also told me that it’s a safe city, others say it’s like war zone lol. It seems to be nice idk

Louisville in the 1990's was wonderful, low violent crime, great weather, very friendly people, very affordable.

Speaking of skylines, Louisville was going to get a very futuristic looking (and kind of polarizing) skyscraper that would have been the tallest building in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee. Construction actually even began on it, but the late 00s recession and housing crisis doomed the project, and it was cancelled.

I hate how the locals pronounce the city. They don’t say “LOUIE VILLE” they pronounce it “LOOLVUL”

My wife and I had our honeymoon in Louisville. It was amazing!

For those that have seen the dome building in downtown Louisville with the Mercer sign, my uncle was the one who installed that sign on that building, and most of the rest of the signs you see around the city

Ugh! What a dirty city. Churchill Downs is right in the middle of a crime-ridden area. Drug addicts everywhere. In front of the court house a druggie was screaming, " come and get me, lock me up, I dare you." Who is running this city? Someone has their head up their fanny.

I lived in louisville back in 93' looked a bit different though alot more walking corpses especially during the knox event. I still pray on the lives lost in the event, Still got to live in a mansion for free.

Hello! Just curious why you haven’t done Nashville??? Its an amazing world class city with tons of 5 star dining, amazing shopping, music, healthcare, tons of old money and sophistication, a gorgeous skyline (that’s growing rapidly) and surrounded by rolling hills. So…. Why have you covered all of these subpar cities, but non of the “real” big US cities. Nashville has a city population of around 800,000 and a metro population of around 2.3 million. Just curious…

I move here in 2002, from New Jersey...ii the beginning I didn't like it.... but now Louisville is my home, I'm not moving nowhere, I'm happy here. Love Louisville!!

Louisville: conservative, too much religion, major streets are endless strip malls, some neighborhoods resemble Third World, instead of culture, primary interests in Louisville are football and basketball and more basketball, Louisville lacks interest in outside world, Louisville is boring. Oh yes, don't forget the Kentucky Derby, and the Kentucky Derby Museum. Oh boy! Whoopppee!

Louisville is a ass backwards city that has been rundown and has become increasingly violent. The schools are overcrowded and terrible.The infrastructure like most Large US cities is so outdated and crumbling. Instead if fixing the problems we keep importing mire immigrants and creating a bigger welfare state. Not to mention the Midwestern and Southern culture and identity are being lost just like so many other places in the US. I don't even recognize the areas I grew up in. Meanwhile our drug, homelessness and crime problems continue to grow and American natives are being left behind. And don't tell me otherwise. Another blue ciry hellhole.

I'm originally from NYC but I moved to Louisville years ago and moved back and forth between NYC and Louisville a few times before finally coming back here two years ago. I will never look back at NYC. I love this city and am proud to claim it as my home.

Louisville has 18 city parks designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted. The same guy that designed Central Park in New York City. They are all exceptionally beautiful and well used.

They need to fix the roads especially in Louisville downtown 😮
