Most people with hypertension high blood pressure have high Aldosterone but unfortunately doctors will not test for it to check so like myself I had to ask for it. They refused so I did it myself out of pocket with Quest diagnostics and my test results are positive and high. Waiting on my referral to the endocrinologist now. Have a good doctor who cares to do an aldosterone test. You'll be surprised how many actually have it. Most don't find out till it's progressed after 10-15 later. Luckily my husband is a researcher on everything and we are catching it early. Get the test.

Currently I’ve been working on lowering my weight. I was at 185, but today 173/4. That’s because I’ve been fasting 43 hours a week from Sunday 5/6 pm until Tuesday 12/1 pm, for the past 13 weeks. My dr told me to stop, but I changed my mind. The benefit of losing weight outweighs the benefit of just lowering my meds, IMO. He lowered my meds because I complained of dizziness and fatigue.

I add Himalayan salt to food I eat at home. One day I ate at Olive Garden and it was so salty, I could barely stand it. Even the salad tasted salty. It was only that one time. All other times it tasted normal. I definitely complained about it.
@KingArtexerxesThis is amazing info
@vickymurray6757To reduce stress throw out tb and social media…all fear mongering . Stay away from stressful people
@Aussie-ShellMy blood pressure was coming down then, over a weekend it blew up and now it won't go down past 180/100. I'm on Lisinopril 10ml and diet and exercise. What's your take ?
@ElmeroVergas-jy7miSo what do you do if you have to lower your blood pressure and eliminate salt, but you also need salt because you have pots?
@lisawagner6136I trust Planet Ayurveda Sharpgandhaghan Vati for its natural ingredients and quality formulation
@Aditya-j5b3tsugar and the effects of excess sugar on BP. Cutting out excess sugar in my diet had a big impact in lowering my BP.
@ApexHealth-d1phonestly the lifestyle stuff he mentions really does work, i cut back on salt and started walking daily and saw my numbers drop about 10 points over a few months. i also added bp360 since it has grape seed extract and coq10 which line up with what he's explaining here, figured for $20/month it was worth trying alongside the diet changes and it seems to be helping
@Hlikz-b7gbreath work (slower out than in) is good for 10 pts immediately and hibiscus tea is another 10 pts
carb fasting (eliminate sugar and starches) is good for 10 points long term
none of the other things recommended by doctors worked for me - the system lives on problems not solutions
I have been reducing sodium intake, eating a banana each day, Walking briskly as much as I can, No Alcohol, going to bed Earlier, (Don't Smoke) and in a week I have dropped 10-12 points.
@DrewJohnston86Where. can I go to talk. about. I don't understand even in Spanish. Please.
@nellyferrufino2275I need to exercise consistently, but I get in my mind that I’ll do it or start later 🥺 I am a single mom and I feel maybe I need motivation. I used to get up early at 5am and wouldn’t miss going to the gym daily for some mile runs and cardio or spin class. Now, I feel a bit tired I am also recovering from low iron levels and feel it’s time to write a daily schedule and have my routine again. Blood pressure is usually a bit elevated but I feel well. I do have anxiety so maybe it’s time I get back to action for myself and my children whom I love with all my heart. It’s been tough with all this economy increasing prices. I want to eat healthy and take good care for as long as I can. I am in the middle of job search and God willing work full-time ❤️🙏🏻 in Jesus name I receive his blessings for better health and stability. Amen
@LifebyEricaI do all that expect pets
@janetwaambo9559I walk a lot. Imagine living in a city with no parking. But it’s not enough. Cardio is next for me.
@_PURAVIDAIt's great to try the natural way but if it doesn't work, you can lose your life if you don't get this under control. My last boyfriend died suddenly of a heart attack---uncontrolled high blood pressure for years and lots of attempts to live a healthy lifestyle to get it under control. He was dealt a bad genetic deck and wasn't willing to face facts. Try the natural way by all means but if you don't see results, then please see a doctor and get on medication. It can literally mean life or death. He was obsessed with healthy eating, exercise, he looked great. It wasn't enough.
@kriskonopka995Doctor you are very cute.
thanx for all guidelines.
stay blessed
White coat syndrome is also real.
I have pretty bad health anxiety. I went to a walk-in clinic yesterday and my BP was 167/113. She took it twice. When I’m at home, it’s usually in the 120s/80s.

@Whatt787Organs need sodium & the minerals with it to work properly.
@EagleArrowDASH plus exercise. Thank you so much for this video. It is great information. My blood pressure this morning was 145/95. I don’t want to go on medication’s, and this video gave me great options to try before the last resort of medication. Thanks again.
@jaysweet7316Thank you for empowering us.
@fuzilemabuza5585I remember back when "normal" blood pressure used to be 140/90 until the American Heart Association changed it to 120/80. Curiously, this occurred about the same time pharmaceutical companies made substantial donations to the American Heart Association. I wonder if there could be a connection.
Also, the way most medical professionals take your blood pressure is incorrect. It's usually the first thing they do during your exam. You walk into the examining room after probably waiting a significant period of time past your scheduled appointment time (causing stress), they immediately sit you down in a chair (which causes blood pressure to rise), strap on the cuff and take your blood pressure while talking with you the entire time. All these things will give a falsely elevated blood pressure reading. Even taking a blood pressure midway thru an exam will almost always yield a lower reading than at the beginning. The proper way to do it is to have the patient lie down for 10 minutes and then take the blood pressure reading while in this position. An even better procedure is to take several readings over a multi-day period at different times of the day and average those readings to provide a more accurate assessment of a patient's blood pressure.
Stressful jobs and everyday life can cause high blood pressure. Also anxiety issues. 90% of us have these. I had to get back in the gym. I lost weight and ate a Mediterranean diet while still having cheat meals. My blood pressure and cholesterol levels went down. I also stopped drinking during the week and lowered my intake in the weekend. Added vitamin D and magnesium to may regimen and I feel so much better. Best wishes for everyone ❤
@EasyFinance-l1sMy blood pressure averaged around 145/95 and my doctor put me on two low dose drugs which had unwanted side effects. When I lost my corporate job with 3 hour daily commute, I also lost my company healthcare and when it was time to renew my Med's I didn’t because of costs without insurance. Went back to the doctor a year later after getting a new job which was work from home. My pressure just came in at 117/82. Didn’t lose weight, didn’t change diet and no drugs. Show's you that a corporate job and long commute could put you in the grave early
@EasyFinance-l1sHonestly, I work out 3–4 times a week, eat clean, and still had borderline hypertension at my last checkup. This video opened my eyes—turns out even stress and lack of sleep were silently sabotaging me. Anyone else shocked by their numbers despite a healthy lifestyle?
@EasyFinance-l1sWhen I worked at a gym doing physical labor, I wasn't getting enough salt and would eat a packet of salt at times when my body was so sore & tired. The salt helped. I was sweating & getting many steps in. That only helped when I was getting over 15000 steps a day.
@allisonconey853Sugar and salt are a fast food industry best friend.
@demenace07My diet is good, well better than good to be honest. I don’t have much salt. I don’t eat many takeaways either. I eat sweet potatoes and veg and fruit. My job is physical enough being a bin man so can walk between 11-16 miles per day if I aren’t driving the bin lorry . I’m 51 years old and am 5ft 11 weight is 14.4stone and to look at me I’m not overweight. My highest number was 185/115 lowest is 142/86 .
@MrTheomighty1I have to find a way to stop having such bad anxiety
