Video Overview & Insights

As a currently 51 y/o Gen X dude who was a teen at the time of the release of this wonderful single I just within the last year attempted it at karaoke. Went well!

— @FrenkMelk

Lush were Miki Berenyi, Emma Anderson, Chris Acland and Philip King. 'For Love' is taken from their 1992 album 'Spooky', produced by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins.

'For Love' was also Lush's first Top 40 single.

This is one song that I sometimes put on an endless repeat for studying or doing chores. It happens with Sweetness and light. The song is just one mood with little variations. I think it helps.

the best thing about lush videos like this is that they always feel like miki is a siren trying to reel you in so that emma can kill you.

Rediscovering Lush after listening to them in the early 90's via Spooky. Beautiful music. I truly hope they reunite at some point.

Once they dropped the shoegaze atmospherics, the bare bones of the songs started to stick out badly - quite dull progressions and changes. Shame.

This brilliant album encapsulates the best of jangle Rock, Dream pop, and Shoegaze. The most balanced combination.

First heard this song about a month ago, and have listened to it so many times. I keep hearing articles describe this band as a Shoegaze band. Those reviewers need to sound clever, but this is just amazing, great-sounding music!

I've made a stupid error, the comment I wrote doesn't represent the beautiness of Lush but it's about a MBV song,my excuse
