Massive Sell Off In Ai Stocks!

Video Overview & Insights

Three of Asia's biggest stock markets have just suffered a brutal sell-off.

This is it,, US tech stocks down 10% now.. within minutes. Some say it’s going to crash 75%

— @davidhamtaro

🇰🇷 South Korea's KOSPI plunged over 10% in a single day, triggering a circuit breaker and falling more than 35% from its recent peak. Meanwhile, 🇯🇵 Japan's Nikkei 225 and 🇹🇼 Taiwan's TAIEX also experienced sharp declines as investors dumped AI and semiconductor stocks.

So what happened?

Did the western media suddenly only pick this up now as the KOSPI index has been up & down since Jan??.

South Korea's KOSPI index shows a year-to-date (YTD) gain of approximately 42.94%, despite experiencing a sharp single-day plunge of 10.84% down to 6,023.66 points amid a broader tech and memory chip sector sell-off.

People are still chasing the Squid Games to make it big!

In this livestream, I'll explain why the market suddenly turned so negative and why this isn't just an Asian story. We'll examine the growing concerns over the AI boom, rising competition from Chinese chipmakers, upcoming earnings from Samsung, SK Hynix, Microsoft, Meta, Apple and Amazon, and whether the market is beginning to question whether AI valuations have gone too far.

Most importantly, we'll discuss what this could mean for the Nasdaq, the S&P 500, and whether this is the beginning of a much larger correction—or a potential crash-buying opportunity for long-term investors.

Don't be fool, don't simply invest in AI this year without research because China released AI model open source, which can run on cheap GPU, on par with claude top models. Also there is no Return of investment from all of AI companies.

We'll cover:

🇰🇷 Why the KOSPI has entered a bear market

— @Longtermalwayswins

🇯🇵 Why Japan's Nikkei is falling sharply

🇹🇼 Why Taiwan's semiconductor sector is under pressure

What to watch from Big Tech earnings this week

My outlook for the Nasdaq, S&P 500 and global markets

There probably would be a huge bear like correction then up again when fomo rallies after US mid term elections.

Tbh It's a great period to buy in low .

How long-term investors should prepare for the next move

If you believe in disciplined long-term investing, don't panic—understand what the market is pricing in and be prepared when opportunities arise.

I thought this fall is due to China breakthrough in chip making , maybe no need to depend on ASML in future ? The more China is being cornered, the higher the chance they would come out with a countermeasure that may strengthen them.

Great insight on the reasosn for the recent Kospi crash and asian mkts and how this could cross over to US mkt tech. Is your advice that if you have cash on the sidelines to keep it in cash until we gain greater clarity and if the US mkt starts to correct on this supply chain scare then to buy the dip on the Nasdaq? I was actually thinking of putting some money to work in emerging mkts with an ETF like DEHP- what are your thoughts?

It is called a market drop or a correction, not a crash lah!
Please go and get your definitions checked first before calling every 1% or 2% decline a “crash.” 🤣
A small drop is still a drop. Not every dip becomes a crash. 😅

There is no military solution to Horrmuz & Iran situation. Will market adjust to this situation as a sustained ongoing long term normalisation?
