I went to Matera this year in April. Included Ostuni, Lecce, and Monopoli all in the southern region , largely Puglia. So beautiful, Matera remains my favorite!

Always wanted to visit Matera, and we finally made it a couple years ago after spending time in Puglia. Was so totally awesome and you all captured the essence of this great and historical city. For those who have not been, please stay at least a couple nights and get the vibe after all the tour buses have left. You will be happy. 🙂

Awesome video on Matera!! It’s one of the most incredible places we’ve ever seen. We stayed there for 2 nights in October 2025 in a hotel carved out of the rock. It was wonderful. Can’t wait to see your video on Lake Garda. We stayed there on a hiking tour in September last year (on our same Italy trip as Matera).
