I was born there and lived on Mission Blvd in Mission Beach - sparse, gorgeous and cheap... $80/mo to live there in the 60s... with the bay on one side and the beach on the other... that same house today would be $8,000/mo... thanks to the midwestern nomads all moving into the area. @petraklemckewebb4307The woman explaining the housing market, I’m sorry, I’ve been there. The unfortunate reality is, your first house will not be your dream home. My best advice, find a drab house in a decent location (this varies according to lifestyle but good school district matters if you have or are planning for kids) and do painting, renovations and deep cleaning and turn an ugly house into something that is a comfortable and closer to your dream house.
