Nikt nie wie jakby sie skonczyl mecz gdyby go wczoraj nie przerwali. Na poczatku Osaka dominowala ale potem Magdalena zaczela dochodzic do glosu i jakby znalazla swoj rytm. Dzisiaj juz sie nie udalo wiec wczoraj wynik mogl byc rozny.

I really don't see what the point is of lesser baseliners like Frech even playing against a power player like Osaka.
If Frech is just going to stay back she is never going to win that way, she might as well bow out.
There are only a handful of players strong enough to stay with Osaka. The rest have no chance.
Now this is grass, if a woman actually served and volleyed then they would have a great chance against the power baseliners, but no women today knows how to do that anymore...

at 2:11 case in point, Osaka could have easily done a drop shot here. Instead Naomi hits the ball right back to her. This was one of her many opportunities with Frech 2-3 feet behind the baseline. I know its not her style but she could win many surprise points with this strategy, its a mistake not to incorporate at least some drop shots in her game. With regard to Frech, her strategy was to hit the ball back to Naomi deep in the court and hope that Naomi misses.

Frech is not a strong player. Hard to believe she's even in top 100.

What kind of horrible highlight is this? Why are you only showing Osaka’s winning points? Huge disrespect to her opponent. Smh!!! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

It should've been 6-0 6-1 =)))

Osaka has trouble closing out sets and matches. Furthermore, I don't understand how a player who reached number one can do nothing but hit the ball hard all the time; he has no volley, no drop shots, and he doesn't lob In addition, she keeps throwing the ball where the player is going to receive it. A player who changes her game a little and starts making mistakes.

the swing volley is alive and well with naomi

Osaka’s main challenge is the inability to close out sets! She still needs to work on her mental strength. It’s never been an issue with her strokes, her fitness perhaps but mostly it’s the mental game.

I always knew her not playing well on clay and grass was all in her head. I'm glad she's past that.

Osaka was up 5-0 in 1st set then started to go for too much. She regrouped after the match resumed.

Damn, that on-court interviewer man, definitely made Naomi feel uncomfortable

@Fuiape

There it goes again, the bowing of the head, to even the loser? That boggles the mind.
Naomi needs some more of HAITI (in her) to straighten herself out completely. The too much SAMURI in her is causing her, a lot of issues.
Can some one tell her that it is OKAY to use DROP SHOT, please?
