Oh another Nightwish album, that sounds like the one before it....and the one before it and you wouldn't even notice that half of the band has been substituted along the years. New drummer (who used to play death metal), new bass player = new musical input? Not with the self-claimed "poet". With all the fanboys shouting "masterpiece", Nightwish has become the cantina band of melodic metal. Play that same song ! Allright same song, here we go!

I'm not gonna lie, this album is great to listen to, but there is no clear "hit" song that I would just want to sing the whole day on my own.
Even if we don't compare it to the old Tarja-era albums with songs like Dark Chest Of Wonders, Ever Dream, Ghost Love Score, Dead to The World, etc... but even when we compare it to the previous one, from which Noise and How's The Heart pop up in my head randomly from time to time... this one is more of an album to listen, and less to sing along :(

this has been a problem since the first album, the singer gets drowned out in so many tracks by the (amazing) music. I'm not a technical dude so maybe there is something I could change on my end but that is my only grievance with this otherwise fantastic music.

Sorry, I loved Nightwish, but this all sounds like watered down remakes of their older songs... the cadence, the accents, everything... Nightwish will ALWAYS hold a place in my metal memories, but this release, will not...

I love music by Nightwish - always have. This album for me is a bit strange though - is it just me or is Floor's singing a bit too quiet for this? I feel like most songs are a bit swallowed by the loudness of the music while I'd like to hear her a bit more. Maybe my brain is not working properly but to me it feels that the balance is a bit off. :(
