Obsession is breaking all the records! Following Bear as he wishes on a Willow Tree for Nikki to love him, but that wish goes horribly wrong. He is met with the classic "be careful what you wish for" consequences.
That Was It? Mechanics Wasn't Fully Explained ? Where Did Nikki Real Conscious Got Trapped To?

He never said he loved her. Because he didn't, he was infatuated with her. Big difference... Which is the whole point of the title right?

I don't think Bear actually cared about his cat. Even when he was crying in the next scene, he was saying "why won't she..." while looking at pictures of Nikki. He was just a self centered shallow man the whole way through.

I donāt think itās āclearā that sheās into him. Sheās not

Oh this movie was f'ed up. I could not take all of the yelling and screaming. I actually had to turn it down because my cats were freaking out.

No bro, you're 100% right about Bear being chicken shit

I love how in the film Freaky Nikki was always in the literal dark, obscuring her and just her frame being seen. I think this was a great way of showing the reality of what was going on with real Nikki.
#ScreenCrush #Obsession
Thatās krazy this movie was made on a million dollar budget. I canāt imagine how much of an upside on revenue has been generated and STILL counting. Iām pretty sure thereās a few film awards on the way that will be added to Bakerās shelf. Major W to all the small time film creators. This kind of production and creativity will be taking over real soon. I saw Backdoors a few days ago and was blown away.

Sarah was only real victim here, rest of them deserve it all ... even Nikki
@nikolygtx8848Did anyone else notice that "One Wish Nikki" speaks in questions almost exclusively once she has fully taken over and isn't glitching like in the beginning. I feel like that hits at how distinctly different love and romance are. When romance is corrupted it becomes obsession among other things. And someone that is obsessed with you wants to cater to your every need, always cares about your feelings first, etc. So she's trying to always keep the focus on him. That's why she freaks out in the restaurant when he calls her out on her lie.
@Peavey311On Wikipedia: Budget $750,000, Box office $427.4 million - wow just wow
@kuyajedenerioColton Ogburn is awesome
@kuyajedenerioWait, there is a Sara in Obsession? Then there's a the film SOULM8TE a M3GAN spin-off where the robot's name is Sara who becomes "obsessed" with her owner.
@kuyajedenerioThe director has been very clear it was not and is not a curse. It's a wish, a stupid selfish wish with zero forethought, but NOT A CURSE. Colton Oogburn I expect better of you.
@michaelluis3669Willow Nikki made a wish too at the end? I think real Nikki did that? But anyways, real Nikki is gonna face consequence s for this wish too? Endless loop!
@sheikhAbdelrahmanIf you need this explained, then you need to go buy a book of basic logic problems.
@ChronicleComicArtBear is my most hated character
@gershwincasper95113:55 I think itās just the Willow bear was so in love with the Willow Nicci. He needed to be with her at that very moment and completely forgot about what he was doing. It was a changeover whatever was personally important to bear at the time didnāt matter anymore because itās what the Willow Nicky wanted.
@ESMITH4Limera ce. Lust. Obsession. Vs true love
@dreamznaspiratons7064dead internet theory. i am real.
@BosephxLess then a mil i think like 750k
@bamdufgaming1365he was obsessed and didnt like when his wish was obsessed with him
@RedVelvetUnderground33313:52 "he dies in his arms"???
@dr.hvacdustinrandolph251I watched it 3 times š I felt so bad for Nikki and Sarah š¢.
@ParanormalPR420Nikki was with the devil trapped and thats why she was crying when he called the number and she also was telling him when she was asleep not to wake up the other possessed Nikki since she wanted to die and was being torchered is what I got from it
@xXLiLHiGsXxBear shouldāve just upped her.. Letās get crazy ..
@TheBroken-b9mCome on man all this info and you donāt even know that the budget was actually $750k
@the_7egendis there any need for the swearing
@tony_knoxAnother win for low budget western horror film in 2026 good stuff nice!
@EldarionZmaybe keeping it simple and low budget is the key for an entertaining, compelling and successful movie :D Marvel and DC should take notes
@ivan1990ivan1It's so nice to see two kind of horror movies there is not a big hollywood's Studio.. its nice to see that they real care about a horror movie not all about the money But The quality of the movieš
@JKP1984its soooooooo BORING, its unwatchable
@djoneforever7:12 Her lips are definitely moveing when she's saying kill me I've watched the movie 4 times now she is just whispering with her eyes closed but her lips are moveing
@braxtonmeadows9181Didnt cost alot cause they hired no5 that big actors imagine if it was Scarlett johanson it would of cost a lot of money to make
@eriktexas-k4rHe never got his wish, he was tortured just as much as Nicki by whatever took control of Nickiās body, heās just as much a victim as her. At least she survived at the end
@Cool-ve2bjI thought he tried to throw up the pills because she made the wish. And it wasnāt just him chickening out. But I only saw it one time so maybe Iām not remembering it correctly.
@camaronshoultz6137When this dude is on the screen just know nothing new will be mentioned. He just restates well known information instead of coming up with original content.
@Tombat777I like to think that even if Ian wished to undo Bears wish instead of a bill dollars, the willow stick would not have broken. Cuz itās not technically his wish, itās Bears wish, and Bear already made his wish.
@TheJaker5It's clear you need to have a lawyer review you wish before you use it like you would need before you sign a devils contract. If the one wish willow was real, they would be a new specialisation of willow attorney and likely expensive to hire.
@Thomatosaurusit's not sleeping pills, it's oxycodone, the heroin of the poor. it's hardcore drug abuse.
@ratelcWhether the pre-obsessed Nikki really had feelings for Bear is intended to be somewhat ambiguous because things that are opened to interpretation always make for better discussions, which is good for any movie. However, the signs of Nikki showing interest in Bear or at least, wanting to give him a chance was heavily hinted throughout the early part of the movie even without the confirmation from Curry & Inde. For a girl to ask, "do you like me? now it's the time to tell me" is practically a direct confirmation that if you like me, be honest so I can give you a chance and we could try. I believe this movie intentionally uses one of those situational ironic twist to showcase how a normal love story can be perverted into a horror story (sidenote: Nikki's calling was writing love stories that made her quit her job). The moral of the story is that Bear could had gotten Nikki to be his romantic partner naturally if he would have just taken the honest route. It's kind of like one of those endings with a twisted irony from Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt. Nikki's response when hearing Ian say, "take your girl home" is meant to make us think she's not interested in Bear at that early part of the movie where we didn't know that Ian had hooked up with her. But now that we have this information, Nikki could have said, "don't say it like that" for a completely different reason.
@Mobproctorf1.2Bear is the villain stop sanitizing him. He is a jerk from the start
@rodrigoca3288The girl who played Nikki, should win best actress if the award shows werenāt political corrupt bullshite! She was effing amazing!
@Elactyrl9343Bear looks like Young Robert de Niro
@bryansalvador7286Thank you for the video. I completely agree. After some much-added thought, I think a key part of the movie is in how he makes the wish. The intensity creates a more subversive enactment of his emotion. Taking the will/freedom to love by being obsessed. The visual I see is during the Jenga game where she kneels to kiss him, almost submitting to him. I could be completely wrong.
@leroyjohnson2044All he had to in the beginning was shoot his shot. She gave him the opportunity and clearly was into him. But then there would be no movie.
@burgersbiblesaeh849I don't think Nikki ever liked Bear lol
@czarclem12The dog is always the best at the end..Thank You!!!! We all love that cute dog!!!
@hektorlinkoYeah the wish itself was super messed up from the start
