★Full Recipe Instructions★

Hi thays looks delicios by tje way but im coming across alot of videos saying lentils are a terrible protein source. Whats your opinion on this diet event tho its not vegan or vegetarian sorry!!
600g chicken + 500g cooked red lentils (slow cooked 7 hours, shredded chicken) + 2 eggs + 1 tin mackerel = ~1,600–1,900 kcal | ~190–210g protein | ~100–120g carbs | ~60–75g fat | high fibre. Very nutrient dense: complete protein, omega-3s, iron, zinc, B12, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, choline, and a full range of B vitamins.

TBH I clicked because it was a gl brother cooking food outside the norm..not disappointed at all. I have a holiday dinner coming up where I'd like to be respectful of my vegan friends and this was a great help. But more importantly the later half where chef takes the time to explain the gastronomy and even touch into the culture are what really make it for me. 10/10.

Hi I just bought a bag of red lentils. On back of bag it has a red Dal recipe. All cooked, but have you frozen in portions cooled lentils? How do they hold up. I saw a video of a Dr. eating cooked lentils with tofu to show his patients. Trying to eat thru pantry , eat healthier & save money doing it.

Made this dish last night and it was DELICIOUS! We eat Indian quite often so we are pretty sure about the taste profile. I was eager to let report that my carnivore husband said it was the best lentils he’d eaten…ever! I am looking forward to having it for lunch today, thinking it will be even better. Thanks Nard Dog. Love what you are doing!

Hi Andrew, do you put the lentils raw or already cooked?

@davidarias3298

Love this recipe. Easy, hearty, and tasty. Easy instructions, background music not annoying or overpowering. Well executed video.

@vbruce5115
@

what I would suggest is to eat it with rice so that its bioavailability and all its amino acid profile is satisfied

@KM70070
@

One suggestion is dont use olive oil for high flame cooking because it has a lower smoke point. Instead prefer canola,sunflower or ghee if you get it where you live. Also you can opt for a pressure cooker instead of a conventional pot which will accelerate your cooking process even more

@pantera1134

This recipe turned out amazing!! It has everything, flavour, a bit o spice and it’s super delicious! Plus is easy to cook. And love the quality of the video, well done!
