Aleister Crowley founded the order of the Golden Dawn, and the spiritual practices known as Thelema. It is based in Rosicrucian and Freemason teachings, but it is primarily a religion that serves the devil.
One thing about satanism that is always true, is it goes to the left where Christianity goes right.
From time immemorial, servants of the devil do the opposite of Christ and Christians, as part of their worship. It is so ingrained that they literally cone to believe bad is good, right is wrong, darkness is light. They go so far as to teach acolytes that Lucifer is the bright and morning star, not Jesus. They preach that Lucifer is the bearer of light, the teacher of hidden wisdom and knowledge, not Jesus.
It is the easiest way to identify servants of the devil: their beliefs and reasoning are backwards, twisted, opposite of what they should be.
That's what this clever and catchy song is trying to tell us: the author was brought up believing right is wrong and good is bad, because nobody taught him that's the devil's reasoning--doctrines of devils.
He literally doesn't even understand that his entire belief system about God, Jesus and the devil is so FUBAR (fucked up beyond all repair). He is so entrenched in the belief of duality, that one can serve the devil and God in the same mind and body, that he has lost both his salvation and his authority in hell.
He walks a fine line between the two kingdoms, in need of a human shield for a divine covering, because he is loyal to no one and nothing but himself.

It's no secret which one he hates, because at least once a day he voices his disappointment and rage at the Creator.
But never once has he ever opened his mouth in anger at the other guy. The devil never gets blamed, never does this person speak ill of or renounce the devil, or complain about the hell on earth being the work of the devil.
Never does he speak one word of anger or disagreement or level any charges of crimes against humanity,
Or any responsibility at all to the devil for the misery and suffering and evil in the world.
To him, everything is God's fault--last night he even said Jesus was crucified, because he deserved it.
Sure, sometimes people say awful things just to get a reaction.
But certain types of blasphemy are straight from the heart.
The overflow of the heart spills out of the mouth.
When one rails against God for hours and days and years without end, that one is gul of anger and hatred towards God. That is an obvious fact.
But when there's no denunciation of Satan and all of his works through people and situations--never so much as mentions the devil having any responsibility for the messes of the world we live in, it becomes crystal clear who has his sympathy and loyalty.
This song being such a favorite of his confirms it succinctly.
