Open Window New York City Soundscape at Night (Midtown Manhattan City Sounds) 4k

Video Overview & Insights

City soundscape of Midtown New York City in binaural audio. This is a view of 33rd street from my hotel room in the evening. The audio is not looped and recorded on location. This recording features sirens, construction, people, traffic sounds, and more. Sounds can be used for sleep, study or entertainment. There's also a bit of white noise. Thank you for your support. Enjoy!

I love your videos - they're simply amazing 😍 Keep up the great work ❤️

I'm not American, but when I was in HS, I dreamed of living in NYC with my best friend (we said we were going to be like Will & Grace). I've never got to live it, but I went to the city a few times. Now I'm working hard so I can fund the next trip. Thank you for my motivation.

I was born in Winnipeg and spent a very good chunk of my life living and or being there, sleeping at my Grandmas. It was definitely nowhere near as loud as New York but the sounds of garage doors closing, sirens, cars passing by, and the clock ticking always comforted me. I live in the country now but it's so so so nice to hear the sounds of a never sleeping city and not having to be there.

Not from New York City, but as someone who has lived in places like noisy urban areas to the actual middle of nowhere, this is the most comforting noise ever.

I'm going to play this to try to desensitize my dog to outside sounds in the hopes that he will stop barking at everything.

Every time I come back to live at my parents home in the quiet suburbs during the summer away from my college dorm building located in the city, it takes me so long to adjust, but listening to this video, I fell asleep almost immediately, thanks for sharing <3

Do people that live in high rises in NYC, typically use shades/curtains? Do you get over the fear of someone watching you? I don’t know why I’ve always wanted to know what 🤣

Grew up in a small town and have only really lived in quiet suburbs since then, I wonder if the locals notice how loud it is, so intriguing

I'll never get tired of saying it, and I don't know if I'm still a weirdo, but I LOVE the city 🏙️🌆 I don't like the countryside and I never will. My friends, acquaintances, and strangers always say, "The countryside relaxes me, it's peaceful, I'd love to live there, have a house there, the fresh air," and so much more... I just can't understand it. I could go to the countryside (for a few hours at most), but I couldn't stay for weeks or months. I like the noise of the city, the distractions, the lights, the buildings... It's simply my happy place. I was born in the city and I want to die in the city. I repeat, perhaps for many it's a strange thought, and that the city is dangerous in many ways, but I don't care. I'm happy with its virtues and its flaws.
