I do think Dr. Brawn deserves a 1.0 buff or just make him wildly more swingy so he can be an insane result eitherway, give him a bit more of a role in the world of QoL endgame breeding etc, that said he's great early and more than that a fun unique NPC to have around your base!

Maybe I found a correlation between doctor brawn medicine level and the success chance of it experiment ? Could someone else test it?
Give doctor brawn some medicine book and max out it's medicine level.
Since I put 3 book on him, I am on a success spree and it doesn't seem to cease

... we have an own Operation Table and potential fruits... which is much fester and safer... you can use him once on a fresh Catched pal but with global palbox he is long gone from any usefullness... its much easier to just breed and get the passives from the table and potential from the fruits. With Arena and mog coins much faster and safer.

I wonder if boosting his medicine work suitability increases the chances of a positive result for surgery. Also, parking him in the medical tent with the surgery table placed in front of it, and maybe 2 tesla coils on either side and maybe a pal appearance modifier next to the table would really give the evil scientist surgeon vibes.

@svcheat8396Have you noticed his outfit is made out of kintsugi which is supposed to signify breaking things and putting them back together can be beautiful things like that pretty cool reference
@jakethesnake6398I find him too unreliable (and overall slow) specially since you can now implant rainbow passives easily from farming ancient relics.

@BraydeWWhen i got the legendary grocer. I got a few charges to my name. As i was fleeing the scene in my eidrolon, i came across him. So, ofc, i did the sensible thing and caught him too. My eidrolon then did a massive attack on the police, which resulted in 4 stars wanted & they dispatched a level 70 chopper.
As i was lv 72 and not particularly well geared, i hopped onto Eidrolon, kept a low profile for a pretty good time and charges disappeared. I wasn't absolutely ready to fight a lv 70 chopper, but overall, that was fun. I might do it again after i upgrade my equipment
I heard if you actually get 5 stars wanted, they dispatch a second, lv 80 chopper.
That seems like a fun time

@joshjones8127Only problem is Brawn's surgery is random and can only be done once a day; farming Ancient Relics is so much better IMO since you can get a lot of the rainbow passive implants
If you're not so lucky, Brawn can end up giving your Pal negative passives and lowering their potential
As far as Pal stats i have a 4* Nitemary for farming souls and i still fight Moon Lord once in a while to get the stat fruits

They should change the way we need to wait to use his "services", i guess 1 irl hour is good enough.
I pretty much have done everything in game.. Saw him only once tried to catch him but guards killed him in process.. RIP

@VentsongeGamingA highly questionable action. The penalty for failure is very strong, while the positive effect is very minor.

@byrdnxtlevelgaming0:30 No the reaction i'm having is that the one time i tried using him, he ripped off runner from my favorite flying mount and replaced it with slacker and i hate him for it.
@Zarkonemwith how easy it is in palworld to make perfect pals this npc might be usefull in the early game. i do not see the benefit of breeding an army for surgery that might bring positive results. Take 2 pals prepare them with the surgery table and iv fruits and just go breeding using the legy cake 😅

@RomiXMachinaI think this NPC needs to have a rework. I want him to remain useful even if we get the surgery bed. I want him to be able to give a higher chance of success, with traits that are only possible to get through him. That would make him more useful as well as a fun side activity. I don't want him to raise IV only and give sub-par Passive Traits when we can have 100% guaranteed better Passive Skills from the Surgery Table and on late game and it's not worth to gamble on a very low chance like that. I hope he gets a rework or someone mod him as something better.

I've been searching for the bugger for two years now! Not once has he popped up for me since 2024.
At this point, I just want to complete my human collection. lol
If brawn gives you a bad result, just exit the game and roll it back a bit to before you did the surgery. You can keep doing this till he ups your EV points.
