The most shameful part about this, too, is Jennings was a journalist and just took the DEA's word for it. What did they pay him for? To be a stenographer to power? Bullshit. His job was to question the government's word. With MDMA, I myself found out that it's the setting that it's taken in coupled with the fact that it's often adulterated by other substances by street level drug dealers who also BTW press pills which are WAY too large for a single dose and users would be advised to get a Pill cutter and SPLIT down a smaller dose. The problem in a huge way is the street MDMA is usually mixed with some other drugs and worse too, its taken at Raves and Festivals, which is the worst most dangerous setting to take them in, you can festival though without ending up leaving in a body bag, just take frequent breaks if you dance and FOR GODS FUCKING SAKE, STAY HYDRATED.

40:07 EXTREMELY RARE although not impossible as now pill presses are easily bought and E is often sold in capsules as well, so,.. yes it's often adulterated with BULLshite but RARELY HEROIN or PCP. I have however seen Methamphetamine and caffeine in A LOT of pills (which is a bad combo.. three stimulants.. synergistic effect would be bad) As well as things like Ketamine and other exotic hallucinogens and empathogens. What year ecstacy got popular? Like 1996-1999 I feel like it really took off cuz I remember like 2000-2005 was like the whole "Ecstacy is deadly.. it's an epidemic it's cut with heroin and crack.. " meanwhile the opioid epidemic was the real problem going on. I remember those days well... in 2005-2006 you could buy a Pink "double stack" molly for 15 bucks or you could buy and oxy 20mg for 15... and for our area the oxy got way more popular. Ppl would do X once in a while but they would do Coke & oxy together like everyday. Yeah my school was F#$Ked up!!!

DEA and FDA are the most vile institutions on Earth. This is why Peter Jennings was and always will be one of my favorite broadcast journalists, if not my number one favorite. He presented all sides of whatever he covered and left it up to us, his audience, to decide where we stood rather than spoon feeding us everything.

I wanted no part of being in this documentary because I didn't believe Peter Jennings was going to actually be able to do something like this for ABC. And when I had a meeting with him and his staff, I saw clips of what they were doing, and i set "wow, O.K. I get it.".......

'll never forget the first time I did Es back in 2005 in a nightclub with a trustworthy friend. I still remember the experience to this day. I dropped an E before going into the club and felt the waves going up and down…cut a long story short, I felt this unconditional love to everyone in that moment, it was like everyone was just having their own blissful experience and without an ego. I perceived everyone in a respectful way and I’ve never felt, heard dance music, like that before! It was like I was the music.

I know these stimulant drugs are in no way near to psychedelic drugs, but for me, It was like a spiritual awakening at some level, I just felt ALIVE!
