Real Lawyer Reacts to Reynolds v. Reynolds (Cereal Defense) It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Video Overview & Insights
⚖️ Do you need a great lawyer? I can help! https://legaleagle.link/eagleteam ⚖️
Ummm bro, I’m u called this a “legal show” 🤦🏻♂️ does this guy know IASIP is a comedy, a tv show. I don’t think we care about the legal precedence bc Charlie can’t read. BRING UNCLE JACK IN and go ahead do your thing
When Frank accidentally hits Dennis's car while Dennis is eating cereal, Frank and Dennis go to the Paddy's Pub court to face off on who will pay for the damages. Court is in session at Paddy's Pub as Frank and Dennis present their cases to the rest of The Gang (with Dee and Charlie serving as lawyers and Mac as judge/bailiff), resulting in a verdict that will change their lives FOREVER... but not really.

Oh I love old Eagle episodes. Back when it was HIM on the channel
(clicking the links really helps out the channel)
Custom Suits: https://legaleagle.link/indochino
Dude why wth hahahaha why are you doing this review wth hahahah
Ties: https://fave.co/2ImLY9I
Tie Clips/Bars: https://amzn.to/2WIQ6EE
I love that Charlie is wearing his fancy coat into the Law House
Pocket Squares: https://amzn.to/2UfsKtL
▶ Why Indochino Suits? (50% off Premium Suits + free shipping) [https://legaleagle.link/indochino]: Off-the-rack suits NEVER fit right. Indochino makes fully custom suits that fit perfectly using any material I want, with all of the options I want. And they cost 1/3rd of what normal suits costs. I’ve purchased them with my own money for years, so I’m thrilled they are now a sponsor.
▶ Why Ties from TheTieBar? (Free shipping on orders over $50) [https://fave.co/2ImLY9I]: Normal ties are too fat. Skinny ties are too skinny. So these days I only wear ties that are exactly 2.5” wide. They are fashionable without being hipster. You see them in all of my videos. TieBar ties are perfect, come in every color I want, and never cost more than $19.
▶ Why these Tie Clips? [https://amzn.to/2WIQ6EE]: It’s really hard to find affordable tie clips that are the right size (1.5”), look good, and are great quality. These tie bars are all three. Plus the 3-pack gives a variety of styles. They pair perfectly with 2.5” ties from TheTieBar (above).
Dee got screwed by bird law. :/
▶ Why these Pocket Squares? [https://amzn.to/2UfsKtL]: I like my pocket squares perfectly, well, square. Like straight-out-of-Mad-Men square. The only way to do that is with a stiffer material that keeps its shape. I’ve exhaustively tried dozens of pocket squares, and these are by far the best. It’s how I get the perfectly flat pocket square you see in my videos.

As someone with donkey brains I find this offensive.

I just noticed the show intentionally misspelt the word rebuttal as rebuttle. At least…I hope it was intentional.

should look at prison break
@RhysClement-o7mThis show is still going strong 💪 keep it up 👍
@Blaze1990-s711:44 (not objection but clarification): if we look at cases such as Liebeck vs McDonalds and Garcia vs. Starbucks, liability rests with those who had not adequately lidded containers which resulted in damages. While the spillage did not cause personal injury, damage to the interior of the vehicle did occur due to the spilled milk (to include dashboard, and it’s safe to assume electronics). Therefore, Dennis is liable for the damage to the interior under assumption of risk.
@michaelwarner228Objection: Charlie CANNOT read the words on the page.
@SongJLikesIn the evolution part, I began to wonder if anyone has ever used the “god told me to do it. How many of you are Christians? You believe in miracles. You are looking at one right now.”
@otballardRock flag and eagle, right Charlie?
He’s got a point.
😂😂😂😂😂
I've watched several of these and I've noticed a pattern with you anytime. A religious context comes into the conversation. You get very uncomfortable almost squirmish and say something along the lines of. I hope they get back to the case here or hope we move on from this kind of nonsense. I'm curious as to why that makes being confronted with what many believe to be absolute truth makes a lawyer so uncomfortable
@bloodbought1980Why not review some of the debates on evolution that are presented in legal terms?
@misanthropiclegendDamn I’ve never seen someone get so genuinely excited about law, makes me actually enjoy it
@thepeanutgallery9980It's honestly so on brand for the show that the episode where they go to an actual court is a less conventional legal proceeding than the one where they make a court in the bar.
@ZacharyDavidColeman[in the IMMORTAL words of Raul Julia as Gomez Addams]
They say any lawyer who represents himself in court has a fool for a client…well, with GOD as my witness
[pointing upwards]
I AM THAT FOOL!!
[Lurch looks up at the sky where Gomez is pointing]
The fact that South Park made the "Chewbacca defense" an actual thing is so amazing 😂
@Sujjin21This actually happend to glen in real life! He was on the way to film and eating cereal while driving and got hit! He told rob what happened then immediately wrote this episode!! Legendary 😂
@Mentalhead66I forget the name of the anime show but it would actually be really interesting if you did one of about uploaded consciousness it's on Netflix
@dharmabliss867Jesus is KING!!
@CarsonShedd"Haha. I think Charlie is being facetious here."
Oh, no. It's Charlie. He's not.

@raceit5022:03 I also feel like if they did went to court, then not only Frank has to pay for the damages to what he did to the back of Dennis’ car, but Dennis would either lose his license, or go back into driving classes to see if he should have his license still while also paying a fine of some kind.
@Marvel-Mations"He should be relying on his punitive counsellor, Dee."
But she's a bird, birds can't do law
sees channel name
OH MY GOD
In Charlie's defense; he's really better versed in bird-law.
@thompsonharper4861The argument about reliability of scientific evidence isn't fallacious. It's a real issue that philosophers debate. There's no logical fallacy there.
@JoeJoe-lq6bd14:44 was that a phoenix wright reference????
@sethcolby3i'm convinced Eagleman was a co-writer on this episode
@sethcolby3How wss it not reasonably foreseeable?
@kristienwhitney-johns5863What legaleagle doesn't understand is that birdlaw is not governed by reason.
@sgtpjwinkels34837:19 he can't actually
@f1rstedition22:17 you've just summarised the plight of modern day trans people
@gaynebula6439I wish I could go back in time and devote my life to law
@randotoonsI think dennis' statement on burden of proof was in regards to " do you have a donkey brain?"
He does not infact need to prove wether he has a donkey brain or not, charlie is very specifically not willing to accuse him of having one because that would make it abundantly clear that dennis has no burden of proof. But asking the question can be answered with a "no or not to my knowledge." At least as far as i can tell.
And since they have no proof to the opposite the entire argument can be dismissed.
Man, imagine if this guy ever stopped doing this in favor of, I dunno, making political commentary that the majority of the country viscerally disagrees with.
@justsomeguywhowantsamust-iw1yjimon the side of frank, unfortunately. Dennis took on a risk of consuming a messy food while driving, Frank is only resposible for the damages on the exterior caused directly by his decision (which are none).
@corvidae2741This guy would actually be fantastic on the actual show, he’s similar to the lawyer they usually use but like a happy younger brother version
@k.c.simonsen2Haha “I think Charlie was being facetious here” - nope, you don’t know these characters like I do, that was Charlie switching sides in a split second lol
@k.c.simonsen2Let’s go toe to toe in Bird Law and see who comes out the victor. Actually I would love a video all on proper bird law
