The song is based on a 1973 children's book, The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast, which was inspired by a 19th-century poem by William Roscoe. The book was illustrated by Alan Aldridge.

After leaving Deep Purple, Roger Glover was asked to produce a musical adaptation of the book. He wrote "Love Is All" as a Beatles-style, optimistic pastiche to fit the whimsical theme.

Although credited to "Roger Glover & Guests," the song is sung by renowned heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio.

The animated short, created by Halas and Batchelor, was heavily played on television in the 1970s and 80s as a filler during technical difficulties, particularly in France, Australia, and on children's programs, earning it cult status.

It was a hit in Europe and reached #10 on the Australian charts in 1978

Bloody hell, I've been looking for this for years. This used to be on daytime TV usually when it was the kids show in the 70s. I always thought it was the Rod Stewart song you're in my heart. Boom radio played the song this morning which sounded very familiar and you tube have got it!!!!

I always thought this was a childhood fever dream of mine since I thought that Paul McCartney sang this song..
And since "Frog singing" search results consist mainly out of "Crazy Frog" and "Paul McCartney Frog Song" , this is a very special media treasure for me.
Thanks for postingπŸ’š.
