That last driver clip was very scary. A guy who cant speak the language means he also cant effectively communicate with anyone and probably cant read signs very well either. GPS doesn't always work. Traveling in a big 80K pound loaded vehicles hard enough without the added dangers of knowing how to properly and safely drive the road ways. That puts everyone in danger.

The first incident was the drivers fault 100%, he should have done a proper Pre-trip inspection and while on the road when you see smoke coming out of anywhere on the truck you stop to identify the problem before you cause an accident.

@Phil-w7uClearly there has to be red flags that companies need to look for when hiring truckers if they can’t speak English no truck, no green card no truck and call ICE. If either of those things happen then don’t give them keys we need to cover all areas when hiring truckers.
