I'm an American, and not familiar with a brown onion. What is it? It looks white.
It looks so scrumptious. Will go to an uptown grocer to buy better British sausages for this.

Those sausages look gross π€’
@jamespargeter5281Still works on version 2021???
@EEEE-cf6koLooks so good and so easy to prepare. Thanks Chef!
@monicamoreira8863Curious as to what an Aussie sausage is - they look like American hotdogs to me, but must have a different flavor since hotdogs would likely be stomach-turning in brown gravyβ¦..π
Are they fairly mild or are they spicyβ¦β¦???
That looks awful
@surajmaharjan9763Looks Delicious.. thank you for another One Pot meals
@merlecharge6813This is a piss take right?

@theinvestmentdoctor8178Lovely! My mum made this too. I'm going to give it to my daughter for the first time.
@samoahThose look more like wieners than sausages. Cultural difference?
@AlergicToSnowAustralians are a different breed. I'm not even sure if I mean that in a good or bad way either. But, I've definitely got my eye on yall.

@terriarheghan3676This is something i cook from my childhood too, when I remember.
@mazhansen8804Tomato sauce WTF π
@lauralishes1Those are hotdogs π€£
@lauralishes1Well that looked great , I bet I tasted beautiful...But it wasnβt the traditional English way And you didnβt say it was ...The way we do it is fry traditional English pork sausages , put to one side , cut up onion length wise or along the grain not across it ., gently fry until softened and slightly caramelised , add your stock or gravy to the frying pan simmer and add the sausages whole , simmer on until slightly reduced, you can add flour when frying the onions but I use beef gravy granules to thicken just before serving with mashed potatoes, pour the whole lot over the mashed potatoes.
@tomsmith5456What would be the name of the sausages in Canada?
@ciji1953That mate looks like sh!t
@floatingpeaks4584This is disgusting you messed up with the gravy and those are not the right bangers!
@nicolavarvaOh my goodness....no! Should have baked sausage and onion together in oven until sausages are really burnt brown.... and use the sausage and onion juices to make the gravy with flour and salt and pepper, even a teaspoon of English, mustard and chicken or vegetable stock (or both) definitely no ketchup!
@SheepsvilleDefinitely doing this for my family this evening thank you it looks delicious
@dickybowmagicwhat no Garlic!!
@Cruella-DevilleMum used to make this but there was mustard in the dish. Was yum.
