Most of the boss songs are sung from the Boss' perspective, but rather than being a hype song about how powerful they are and how you don't stand a chance, Hegemone is singing about the fact she's become a literal prisoner in her own body incapable of doing anything but screaming at the horror of what she's become.

Just finished this raid tier last night.
I cannot believe that even when I'm more than a thousand hours into the game, I am STILL getting blown away with every successive track I listen to.
This has gone beyond legendary soundtrack. This is straight up mythical.

This song is just so good. The lyrics paint a picture of a gentle creation being taken to pandemonium, only to slowly be driven to insanity. First there's "Here be Lions" then it becomes "Be the Lion" and it finally ends with "scream all you like cuz we're all mad here" signaling the change is complete from misunderstood creation to full on nightmare fuel. 2 years later, this song is still my favorite in the whole game.

This song certainly gets an A+ on the lyrics.
