09:12 I generally don't recommend the experience at 'all-you-can-eat' Korean BBQ restaurants. While they are a good choice if you want to eat various types of meat at an affordable price, the cost ends up being similar to regular restaurants if you don't eat much.
โAuthentic Korean BBQ tastes best when grilled over high heat to stay juicy, but many all-you-can-eat places ask you not to turn up the heat too high. Additionally, many of these restaurants use a circular grill with a hole in the center for soybean paste stew (Doenjang-jjigae). While this is convenient for boiling the soup, it prevents the heat from reaching the meat effectively.
โFurthermore, beginners often struggle to grill the meat properly. For these reasons, I don't recommend these places as they might lead to a disappointing first experience with Korean BBQ. Instead, I recommend restaurants where the staff grills the meat for you. This allows you to focus on your conversation and enjoy the meat at its best. While not all all-you-can-eat restaurants are like this, a high percentage of them share these drawbacks.

@์ก์-j2vAlways say this. If you can't handle spicy food, in Korea, always ask the waiter how spicy before ordering. The chef will adjust the spiciness for you.(You can add cheese) Koreans who can not handle spicy food order this way, too.
