Sims 4 Update brought back Autosave?!

The work they've done on save corruption is real and substantial. I had saves plagued by save corruption in every save after I got For Rent. Now, I tend play in VERY large saves, for a long time and larger saves are more at risk for this, so that's a big factor. I had save corruption issues all through 2025. I passed on to the team 11 saves for them to look at, all corrupted. But now my saves are working well, at the size they would have corrupted before. Some past corrupted saves became viable again. It's a huge boon to me and a vast improvement. I've learned to scale back a bit, and I limit the amount of residential rentals I have in a save (under 40 units per save), but fingers crossed it's all working well. For people like me who prefer playing in larger saves, this has been a HUGE improvement!

I keep seeing all the posts from all players stating all the problems with the Sims… Sometimes I wonder, is the Sims still in early access?… 🙄

Omg yes, I’m having a huge issue where my sims keep canceling the go to school or work interaction, causing there grades and stuff to go down, an annoying fix is going back into the world map and then loading back into the household

I think the roofs not displaying properly was only affecting houses built with roofing done a specific way. I do a lot of building and none of my builds were affected by the roofing bug. I could be wrong, but roof pieces disappearing only seemed to affect builds where platforms were placed on the floor on the level the roof pieces were placed on. Usually the platforms were used to enable more frieze/trim placement. I don't know if how I worded it makes sense, so apologies if it sounded like nonsense.

But, again, I could be wrong about what was causing the problem- so if anyone is more building savvy & knows please do correct me. I just know that my builds were totally unaffected.

I'm only using the alarm. Not the auto-save itself. I don't care for auto-save if it creates an unremovable file.(can't be removed in-game, but it can be deleted from the saves folder)
