Video Overview & Insights
If you've only known intense, sparky romances, a slow burn can feel boring, confusing, and anxiety-inducing. Here's how to embrace it, and why it might be exactly what you've been missing.
This is super helpful for me right now!
I get into:
→ What a slow burn actually is (and why it builds better relationships)
I want to jump in with everything i have. She says we have to go slow. I am enjoying the ride. I am super thankful. But its not what i would do. I dont like the uncertainty. Although she knows i am head over heels for her. ❤❤❤

I am super happy for the slow burn. ❤❤❤ It's been two years. I think about him everyday & no way am I chasing him, I allow him to chase me as he chooses. We don't need to be together all the time, we feel each others energy. He's absolutely my TF.
We work together & only see each other twice a week & we never speak or text on the phone.
I needed to know if he was truly in it to win me & not play me.
I want to be a wife.
I was so use to microwave type men. I had a lot of inner work to do, it's a painful process but truly worth it, I am still learning & growing & to also learn to trust the process.
No more microwave type relationships for me again.

I have known this girl for years and we have spoke over chat for years but it was always surface level and all of a sudden her tone changed so I was brave at the end of the convo asked her out she said yes but said she couldn’t due to being busy but we have been texting more then before for weeks now she said she wouldn’t be available for a few weeks so I clocked on she’s a slow burner and the texts are getting warmer and she flirts without realising it she also gets flustered over text I’m very perceptive and can see the tone shifts … it’s very different but there’s definitely something going off here in a very slow burn way

How is the slow burn compatible with the tendency of people dating multiple people at the same time? While you're taking it slow, another person might rush things and push you out even if they'd be the worse match. I feel like you should at least agree on taking it slow but exclusive early on

Sleeping together early on can absolutely work as long as you’re not stuck in the past or thinking about the future. If you stay in the present moment on your dates, seeing them for who they are, and it feels right in the moment, it’s perfect. Just personal experience
@austingilles1322Thank you for being a resource. I've been on a journey to discover why I need to understand my curse as a "romantic/pisces". The slow burn is a beautiful concept.
@ibeeliotIf it isn’t a sign…
@sophiatrabelsi1000He’s constantly in my thoughts. It feels impossible to let go.
@GyefaPinoyou should date 2 years before getting married. if she doesnt kiss you by the 3rd date guys she is not interested .
@rogerdowns6965Didn't know you were on YouTube
@LoveToday8This might be a strange question but can these tips for dating intentionally apply in a non-heterosexual context?
Only because one thing I've seen with society is that they judge people differently, with opposite sex couples if it doesn't work out then the village gossip goes to who was at fault for the relationship not leading to marriage and kids but with a same sex couple there seems an assumption that any relationship is simply a hook-up anyway as there's no family line to continue so nothing to anchor the relationship in the way of permanence.
This perception is changing but I wondered if the Dating Intentionally model works (or more precisely) works the same way if one isn't straight.
Video editor here. Gotta just say, your setup is very nice, it's just missing that click remover! It's an audio plugin included in most editing software and while some people might not even notice the difference, a huge portion of viewers will really appreciate it!
@GnomereginamI’m currently going through this right now with someone I’ve been talking to going on for 3 months and the slow burn is so real too ❤
