ONLINE SAVINGS/BANKS:
Two huge complaints about the SoFi card …
1) I have a credit score of 800+ and recently opened checking, savings, credit card, and investment accounts with SoFi. Despite all of that, they gave me a ridiculously low credit card limit of $2500, which doesn't even get me through a month of normal charges. They also told me there's no way for me to request a higher limit.
2) There's no way to make an instant payment on the SoFi website from your checking/savings to pay down your credit card balance. When you make such a payment via the website, it takes up to a week to actually lower your credit balance. For an online-only bank, that should be an instant transfer, but apparently SoFi can't manage it.

I finally got my SoFi checking and savings accounts open after a long delay bc their system couldn’t verify my address and then I saw that you only qualify for the $300 bonus if you have over a whopping $5000 in direct deposits 😞 annoying
