Still do NOT agree with top down. Just picking bets because they are a better price by a couple of pennies, or a half point better line does NOT guarantee profit over time. You HAVE to know what you are betting. Everyone saying you don't even have to know the sport is dead wrong. Try it and see!! Go place all your bets on ping pong just based on a couple pennies better price and see how you do. Day traders dont just buy stocks because one is a better price by a penny over something thats a sure fire winner.

If it's 10 hours before tip off, groups or sharps could just be giving a pump fake or banging the line up while limits are low. Groups are now playing middles and arbing. Watch Pinnacle line moves all day, they go up and down. Top down isn't what it use to be.
@Eric-yn6urThe problem is sportsbooks track your CLV, and if a high percentage of your bets have CLV’s that give you an edge, they will reduce your action so it’s not worth it, if they don’t ban you.

@LokiSkarsWhen comparing a recreational book's odds to a sharp book's odds, is it enough to see if the rec. book odds are above the sharp book odds or do we need to de-vig the sharp book first and compare the rec. book to the fair value / implied odds that the sharp book is showing? THANKS!
