Star Wars: Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Reveal the Truth About the Jedi to Luke

I wasn't expecting that.
Man it was great.

You have the stories right and you even have the look of the characters right but there’s something about the dialogue that feels robotic that some other creators are able to channel better.

— @Koyotesucks

What if Luke Skywalker encountered both Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi after the fall of the Empire?

After the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke continues his journey to rebuild the Jedi Order. But before taking his first steps into the future, he receives an unexpected visit from two legendary Jedi Masters.

Imagine being a Force Ghost and still a mind noob. lol (Yoda must be worse)

Qui-Gon all the way.

— @jamajnasoares5702

Obi-Wan Kenobi returns once more to guide his former apprentice's son, while Qui-Gon Jinn finally meets the Chosen One's child for the very first time. Together, they reveal forgotten truths about Anakin Skywalker, the Force, and the future that awaits Luke.

This cinematic Star Wars fan film explores one of the most fascinating "missing moments" in the Star Wars timeline using realistic visuals, emotional storytelling, and original dialogue inspired by the saga created by George Lucas.

Their talking pace is a bit too slow. Makes them sound…. Mentally slow too

I was going to ask why Qui-Gon's force ghost aged, but then remembered Anakin's de-aged.

THIS should be the story in The force awakens! THIS is real star wars! Its not like disney didnt have access to ai either.

He landed his pit in the swamp again - is he shocked to find its disappeared when he comes back - banging his head against a tree repeating "stupid...stupid". 🙂

How come it ended up with their faces almost constantly with a strong undercurrent of simmering spite?

Oh, and greaaattt writing btw, thanks

Great video! Love it!! 😄 Not a criticism.. an observation however. At approximately the 8sec mark, the colours of the sabers change. Luke is holding Vader's red saber and Vader has Luke's green saber.

Qui Gon looks angry, tight lipped

@Hyperria

Obi-Wan still mad about Qui-Gon pushing him to the side without saying like 50 years later. These two fighting like they were in canon when Qui-Gon dies is so perfect.

At least this one Obiwans voice is more life like

This is a good video. But I think Obi would be younger and agreed w/QuI-Gon.

See, if Disney had just gone this route instead of the hilariously disastrous path they took, they wouldn't be where they are at today. Now they're attempting to "reset" everything? Good luck. I truly wish them well - especially with Dave Filoni leading the charge.
But for now, Disney deserves every headache they get.

oh man this conversation reminds me of the world we live in today as all governments blindly following
agendas and orders forcing on us almost every weak with new solutions that we know don't work at all
Thank you for this new movie there is a lot to learn from it 🙂

Where was Yoda? The conversation that took place in his last residence had me wondering why he didn’t appear? Also, if Luke can see Qui, then can he see others like Windu?

As far as I'm concerned, Qui-Gon is the greatest Jedi.

Not bad. Not bad. That actually kept my attention and I felt like I learned something. The writers lived up to the legacy that time. :)

this was cool. dunno why qui gon has aged considerably after dying

Under 200 characters:

Too much exposition. It feels like characters explaining the story instead of living it. The pacing slows, and the scenes lose tension and momentum.

@Wojak_Stanwick

I know they did it with obiwan but i was under the impression qui-gon couldn't "physically" manifest himself in the force, he hadn't figured it out but trained yoda 🤷. Anyway maybe i imagined it. Either way gave me goosebumps, accurate portrayal of each characters perspectives. Loved it 🤘.

Obiwan wasn’t ridged like this , he always followed the living force , he allowed the force to take over , the only reason someone with no talent that was special to reach his rank and respect was to be one with the force, he was very much like his master , but with a bit more respect for the council in his youth, but he grew out of that and became 100 percent about the living force , his master trained him to become a force ghost while a force ghost lol, obi wan was not this guy , sorry but he doesn’t fit that conversation, although a hit stricter then his master , he was very much a rebel himself , broke the code several times to reach goals or to win fights , even touching the dark for a second when he fought maul and killed him, the spin flip he did and cutting maul in half all against the code. I actually like that part of obiwan , he isn’t a complete lock in and he has emotions and attachments to people, even without the added materials, he was like this in the original trilogy as well. He takes chances, and the new obiwan material has him Straight out rule breaker, and rogue , he had a woman he was in love with and was gonna leave the order for her, he hid things for Anakin , he was a good friend, he had an attachment to Anakin, that attachment is half responsible for most of what turned Vader , he could have that stopped long before , but he loved Anakin.

Qui gon aged….as a ghost?

@daneparsons725

I really like this scene! The voices were all very good. Like most videos created with AI there are some editing issues. For example, in one moment Luke is outside of Yoda's house, then he's inside looking through some papers, then he's back outside as if he was never inside. It also might have been good to include Yoda's perspective and maybe even Anakin's. I would think that Luke would have wanted to hear from all 4 in order to decide his best path forward in creating a new jedi order.

@skytalker2b351

At least in this video Luke wasn't subjected to Yoda's dreadful cooking😉😁😈.

@nicholasmaude6906

If Qui-Go Jin had survived and raised and trained Anakin Skywalker then Anakin would never have turned into Darth Vader.

@gumbie007

Man, I can never get enough Qui Gon Force Ghost! It's a bit strange that he's aged but he can appear in whatever form he wants to, I suppose. Anakin should have popped in with a little bit of post Vader wisdom too, maybe.

Holeee Crizap! The reclamation of Star Wars awesomeness is at hand within these short films. You are truly following the will of the force to make right that the possibilities to make excellent Star Wars material is in the hands of fans such as yourself and your team. The people at Disney have NO IDEA what they have and how to use it like this, ..maybe Filoni and Favreau, they write good stuff too. This is next level stuff and they should know it.

@robart1979
@

I 100% agree with the underlying premise here. I have wanted so much for Asoka and Anakin and Luke and Grogu and the Mortis gods to make their way forward beyond Jedi and Sith exploring the Force more profoundly.

Bring on the Yuuzhan Vong.
