Now listening and seeing the two most depressing medias is making me think of a recent heartwrenching video of a P4l3st1n1an child carrying the dead body of his sibling on his back, profusely crying, and hiking to nowhere under the hot midday sun. Both of them below 8 years old 😢😢😢😢😢. I will forever curse the people who bring down irreparable destruction and sadness in innocent people's lives 😢😢😢😢😡😡😡😡 !!!!!

I cried at so many shows and movies and games and books, but none of them destroyed me the way Grave of the Fireflies did. It's been years since I watched it, and it still makes me sick whenever I think of it. I even found myself on the verge of tears just watching this edit. Normally I can't even think of it.

One of my best friends lives in Kyiv, Ukraine and I once spent an entire night violently sobbing to this song and music video because I thought that they had died after they hadn’t replied to my messages in 28 hours.

…turns out they just did a very long session of writing fanfiction after stressing about their job and uni work for the first half of the day and completely forgot the time - I was so relieved 😭 They apologized a billion times but I told them that non of that matters because them being alive and safe is all that matters to me at the end of the day. Never take those you love for granted 🫂 befriending someone who lives in a war zone has taught me so much about life, cruelty and beauty and empathy as well.
