I've been using Suno for about 6 months and have had lots of fun with it, but Udio has blown me away on what it has made. However, I don't like how it only limits songs to 2:10 and is very inconsistent for me about 40% of the time.

Both of these are absolute magic for generating original tracks from text. But the one thing I felt was missing was the ability to just take an existing song and completely flip its genre or swap the vocals. That's actually why I started building SwapStyle AI for mobile. There is absolutely nothing Bollywood about the audio Suno generated with your third prompt. It also completely ignored your instructions of including tabla sounds and rendering it in the style of Qawwali.

I changed my mind after using suno V5 it's unbeatable!

i was a big fan of udio, better music ... but since i tried upload on Suno V5, my mind was blown away. Giant step from SUNO, better imo.

Udio is better thats why they were attacked first. I cant download my songs anymore. luckily I downloaded most of them before the lawsuit.

Ai is crap at coming up with decent lyrics, however if you are original enough to have your own Udio is magic at making the music and voices to go with them. Ai can't totally make up for lack of originality and talent.

this should be updated and talk about the intellectual property aspects in 2026. the differences are staggering. the tldr is Suno has a better ToS for owning your tracks. for the pros that want to distribute music this is the most important thing. who cares about features and quality if you give Udio permission to use your music in perpetuity? i'm not talking about a prompt and Udio does 100% of the work. i AM talking about if you upload your own song and Udio generates some suggestions, well now they own that work.

udio is shiii... i just wanted to try it after ten minutes, it let me to make, and the goofy dumb Udio AI made shitty music, and while I enabled the instrumental, it gave me a song, and guess what? a woman was singing all of my prompts on it .she was singing : instrumental built for a neon-soaked futuristic city. Deep rumbling bass, cold atmospheric its just bad and also it just let me make 1 song one bad song.

Suno feels more good at pop, rock, or something has a beat, Udio can do unrhymitic things especially orchestral...

It's settled, everyone now gets a personalized song for their birthday.

Udio is not even a close second

Suno's V5 is really powerful actually. Yes, there are issues, but it's right up there with Udio as far as I'm concerned. I almost prefer it over Udio at this point.

Which a.i music software is best for working from audio rather than prompts? I don't want to use a.i to generate songs. I've already created complete recordings of songs I've written myself, using vst instruments in cakewalk but I'm not happy with their overall quality and I'd like to improve them. I've been trying suno but it's driving me nuts with it's incessant and uncontrollable re-imagining, restructuring and reformatting (aka ruining) of my songs. I'm looking for something that will basically recreate what I've already done, only better. Any suggestions? Cheers 🕊

Suno complete tracks sound good, but the stems are terrible. Filled with vacuum sound, drop outs, noise and significant artifacts. I am interested in trying Udio and other alternatives - Can you mention any others worth trying?

That's an unfair comparison because you haven't disclosed which models were used. I'd bet that if you put this up against Suno's latest model, Udio's raw output would get completely crushed without any manual fine-tuning.

What extraordinary bullshit. The video praises the inclusion of "South Asian musical traditions" and "this level of cultural authenticity" where the sounds are 100% western dance music. An extremely false assessment.

All of Suno's created music sounds so generic. You may get a different sounding song if you generate the same song 10 times.

suno sounds trash compared to udio.

For Rock in general Udio and Producer with Fuzz1.1 and not 2.0 (who is terrible) are far better than Suno who is bad except for Evanescence, Nightwich or Within Temptation style. Suno is like Eurovision rock music with bad composition.
