Getting all offended because someone clowns on you or the company you drive for? Ya might want to think about another line of work. Truck drivers are notorious for their sense of humor and their ability to rib another driver. It's all in good fun and besides , it was worth it just to see the laughing horses.

Here's the problem with Swift, and a few others that I won't mention. They have all automatic transmission trucks! If they had real trucks like my Peterbilt with an 18 speed manual, or even 13 speed manuals, this would weed out all the incompetents. Automatics have destroyed the industry! In my 50 years of long haul driving I have seen a steady decline in driver skill, and they're k!lling people

My wife worked at Swift for 13yrs as a Driver Manager. She got off the phone one day and said to a fellow manager, that's one dumb MFer. She was the lead manager and got fired that day.

The people laughing are jerks I been driving truck since 1973 and seeing equipment damaged I don't find funny I hate seeing equipment abused or damaged😊

It’s very sad that companies like Swift in JB Hunt pull drivers right out of driving school. Says a lot about the driving instructors.

How do they stay in business? How do they keep their authority alive?

I was in a truckstop one night. A Swift driver knocked on my door, and asked me to back his truck into a spot for him. I felt bad, so I did it. He tried to give me $20 when I was done. I refused the money. I told him I'd have taken his $20, if he had a trailer, but seeing as it was just the tractor, I didn't want any money.
