Funny thing when I moved to Central Georgia they said it was the nation's worst allergy place so now Tennessee's trying to take that too? Funny if you live in the south you're going to be affected so that's not really on the list.

Lack of diversity, oh my Goodness, If you step outside of the larger towns at any state in the United States of America you're going to find predominantly what I hate to be called white people because white drum roll please because we're in the majority. It's about math. Not all small towns but most small towns are predominantly light-skinned people. You're going to find that in every state. Because every area has a majority. I'm living in a small town right now and the majority is not white but they're still a majority It doesn't mean that it's diverse It's only got 10,000 people😂😂😂😂😂 That's not even a neighborhood from the big city I move from That's like a few blocks. The comparison is worse than apples and oranges.
Public education. Okay that's most every state as well. When we moved to Jacksonville in 1974 the public schools weren't even accredited.😂 Duval currently has the highest ratings of homeschooled children because of public school system sucks still in 2026😂 I'm guarantee you most public schools aren't what they used to be. Even if it's simple it can still have quality but that's not real common in America right now. Myself and my younger sister we're both put in private school and once we moved to Duval. Palm Beach county however was did not have that problem.
Drugs and crime, rural crime is a crisis throughout America again. I was shock moving to a smaller town how much pot is smoked because you can smell it everywhere. And if they're not smoking it you can smell it on them because it stinks.A national epidemic.
Low wages, Georgia OMG low wages who are you kidding? 1985 at best wages at best. Yeah we have more millionaires and billionaires and trillionaires so somebody is earning the money it's just not the rest of us😂. Small town I live in the average wage is 1/3 of what you quoted 1/3 most people work two to three jobs
Skyrocketing prices for real estate is nationwide very few exceptions. When you find those exceptions it's a very financially oppressed area. Houses that should cost $75,000 or 130,000 and when the average income for that city is 31,000 they can't qualify for that because technically you should never buy a house and be financed for a house more than three times what you make! Because otherwise you're going to be upside down for the rest of your life if you can get somebody to finance you.

I can tell you haven't been to Nashville much or lately. There's hardly any country music being played in the bars there anymore. You act like it's the only thing you can hear. Maybe decades ago, but not now. All you hear now is blasting rock music coming from the open windows and doors of the bars in the Gulch.

Lived in TN for far too long, not so long ago... horribly racist still. But the in your face racism is somehow less offensive than the quiet little ways that people discriminate without most people noticing.

Then that owner of the property sold it and across the street from a residential area the new owners build a massive
Storage unit complex with it open 24 hours and all the coming and going… I just sold the home and took a hit
Common theme from people looking at the home was great home BUT I do want to live across the street from storage units

The housing in TN is way overpriced, because too many ppl want to move there for the lower property tax rates. But a word of caution, the property tax rates are lower there now, that does not mean that the local governments will not raise the tax rates to match that of other states in future. I think they will do that, it is just a mater of when. When that happens, what happening in the real estate market of FL will happen in TN.

I grew up basically in Memphis. Through the years I’ve seen how Memphis came to be what it is now and what it used to be. What’s so funny is people don’t want to move there but they want to come to east Tn. What they don’t know is “Memphis” is moving here! Crime has risen a lot the last couple years and I see what happened to change Memphis to what it is and it’s starting here too! I never felt so unsafe in the Memphis area as I have here in east Tn! Yep people can move where they want but they have no right to complain!

It's like walking through a pile of shit to get to a half decent place. Good luck if you have to drive when it snows. It barely snows there but they salt and scrap roads when they feel like it. Too many crack and methheads as well. If you want to move there make sure to check the registry site to make sure you don't move next to a creep.
