London does have a lot of hidden gems. I was amazed at how much of London still stood after the Blitz, it's loaded with architectural gems, hidden Mews and wonderful hidden parks far away from Hyde park, and don't forget the Pubs, best place to mingle with locals.

One of the most underestimated restaurants with fantastic views is in Tate modern on the 7th floor. Fantastic views of the river w the parliament etc. Tate modern also has a winebar were you can have a wide selection of good wines in a glass instead of the normal house wine. Good to combine w a day out on the south bank

I recommend simply riding a city bus. The tube may be more efficient in getting you from here to there,but the bus lets you see things.

You didn't mention Regents canal in Camden, you can hire a narrow boat or pay a fare on a boat which travels through Regents park.
You can also get a boat from Westminster Bridge to Richmond, Kew, and Hampton Court Palace. It's a relaxing way to travel.
The park at Richmond is like the countryside and nice to walk along the Thames, to Teddington lock, where lots of boats queue up to get through the lock, to the higher part of the Thames.
There's pubs, old churches and large houses like Ham House, to look round on the way.

Dude, i totally love your video sadly there's one thing missing: prices. From what i can tell even in you're in a budget a mandatory 100 - 150 pounds would be destined just for meals, beers and snacks.

I think the thing you get right is City of London > City of Westminster. Go to Trafalgar Square, Buck P, Britsh Museum if you must - but little business going west of there for the most part.

The subway is super expensive! it's 3€ per ride. Madrid is 0,6€, I loved that about madrid.

I work in Holborn so unfortunately u cannot avoid tourist areas, london is huge and contrary to the londonphobes opinion, we have villages,,loads of beautiful almost rural areas, lakes, quiet areas as well as busy cosmopolitan streets . London is one of the safest cities in the world and the diversity is its strongest plus . I love london , i love our proud multiculturalism and i love our brilliant mayor. For those constantly putting us down....you dont know london and more than likely youve never been and ir youre a racist .
