I grew up in pool room with bookmaking since I was 17. With that said , I have lived in the world of 11-10 for over 55 years and gambled all my adult life and still doing it. I have my 10 commandments of gambling I never break. Gambling 101 : Thou shall not make BAD bets. For me a LOSING bet is not tantamount to a BAD bet. People should digest that . I am both a QUANTITATIVE & QUALITATIVE handicapper based on my skill set of graduate level statistics and vast knowledge of tests & measurements . Lets say after using my own spreadsheets based on the criteria I deem important to find a team to bet on , my handicap puts me on Seattle -4. However I think YOU should explain the VIGORISH to the readers. Years ago betting with the MAN the VIGORISH was 11-10. Today with my 3 outs on line , YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE VIG. My bet on Seattle -4 , for me. is a good bet at -110 , however , if the VIGORISH was -125 it becomes a BAD bet . This gambler will hardly ever bet a VIG. greater the -120. What you say about PARLAYS is mostly true . However , I have made exceptions on some parlays that offer a great Promotion , and are what I call CORRELATED parlays . For example New England is playing the Jets in a division game , and my handicap analysis puts me on the JETS+6 in Dec. in ICE Cold weather . I may find VALUE in both the game line (+6 ) and the TOTAL line (Under ) , I will , and have bet a CORRELATED Parlay with the game line and total line. I busted the BOOKMAKERS butt for years in the NFL betting TEASER/PARLAYS , and my system was simple. The GOOD TIMES are gone now so I will explain my system . First , my philosophical approach was to USE THE VEGAS MATH BOYS MODELS AGAINST THEM , and TEASER /PARLAYS were my methodology . For the readers , a two team 6 point TEASER /PARLAY allows me to SWING the line up or down 6 points , and a 10 point 3 team TEASER /PARLAY lets me SWING the line 10 points up or down , BUT , I must win both games in the 6 point bet , and all 3 games in the 10 point TEASER /PARLAYS for those wagers I could care less what teams were playing because I WAS BETTING TO COVER KEY NUMBERS IN FOOTBALL and 3 is the primary key number. Years ago before gambling was legal like FAN DUEL , I bet with THE MAN and there was NO VIGORISH on TEASER /PARLAYS except winning both games or all 3 games , and I won. Then on my legal 3 outs : FAN DUEL , DRAFT KINGS , and BETMGM , I still kicked butt at -110 . Now the bookies finally wised up . When I went to bet a TEASER /PARLAY in the NFL this year , the VIGORISH jumped to -134 on TEASER/PARLAYS and I cannot win over a season at that market price. So. my run is over but I had a good 30 year run stacking the money !!!!! Gambling and handicapping is a skill with some luck. Being retired , I spend 8 hours a day 5 days a week doing my homework handicapping and it is a labor of love ! If you are new to gambling on sports know this. THERE ARE NO LOCKS AND RUN WHEN YOU HEAR THAT. At 11-10 Vigorish you must win close to 53% to be in the BLACK . My goal is to hit 54% and if you think that is easy then ask all the losers . My very first bet was on SUPER BOWL 3 and the COLTS-18 , a loser , and I made a vow to do all my own handicapping after that, My last bit of advise ; GAMBLING 101: WHERE THERE IS MONEY YOU WILL FIND CHEATERS , but it is not the bookmaker or books.. Just sayin !

@picatanAll the videos posted be awesome. My 1st year of betting (2022) I was really frustrated. I use to think wins vs loses but even if I won more did not really result to massive profit. Also each sport can not be bet the same way. Let me give some examples on how I win per sport... Baseball I bet +2.5 on the underdog because 80% of the games ends with 2 runs or less. Football I bet lessor on the total so if the books post o42.5 & u42.5 I'm going as far down and/or up o35.5 & u49.5 . Basketball I bet the available lessor average stat of a player...Example : If Jokic avg 25pt 15r 10a I'm betting P/R/A at 40.5. I do everything this way for my edge. Also when I use a Profit boost I use it on a 3 leg enough to qualify to use so if I'm require to use the boost at -300 then I'm 2 legging but +400 I'm 3 or 4 legging.

@Patman494I'm always looking for NFL games where the underdog gets the ball first and scores, changing the odds so the favorite is then getting points, and haven't touched the ball yet. Fortunately since I'm not a huge gambler, I can wait and wait until I see something else I like.

@SouthSideRobparlays/accumulators/multis (patents, lucky 15, lucky 31) are the weapons of mass destruction of the bettor when they have the edge. A massive bet on a single line is going to set off alarm bells with the books.

@Memphis7486single legs are the worst bet, unless you can model better than the bookies(you can't). with in game parlays you can at least get a correlation edge(sometimes)

@davidwaigwa5484After watching half of the video, it does not convince me to do sport betting. On the contrary, it discourages me from doing so. The analysis are complicated and confusing. Honestly it has given me a headache. 😵💫
@I8yr4n5e6h9gyhNfri/ yrfi arent an easy bet. Teams can be in bottomr of inning 2 outs , 3-2 count and still score a run burning their nrfi. These are 50/50 bets the books use to trap us. Nrfis are fun but sucker bets!

@WiseOld_ManThe bit about promos could not be more true. When I started, I was able to grow a $250 bank roll into $550 because of welcome bonuses. Some of this was just blind luck, but I also wasted a lot of bonus bets through rookie mistakes. You can also make some extra cash through the casino bonuses offered by the same service, but I would only recommend this if you have the self-control to stop playing once the bonus is used up. Make sure you check the fine print too, because they are usually much more sleazy with casino bonuses (insane play-through requirements, using your deposit before the bonus, etc).
