The 7 Levels of Mercedes Explained In 10 Minutes

Video Overview & Insights

Which Mercedes should you actually buy? There are 7 levels to the Mercedes-Benz lineup — from the $42K CLA to the $2.7 million AMG ONE — and most people pick the wrong one. In this video, I break down every tier of Mercedes so you know exactly where your money goes and where you're just paying for the badge.

If you're thinking about buying a Mercedes or any car, run the numbers first. I built a spreadsheet that shows you what any car ACTUALLY costs over 5 years, compares 3 cars side by side, tells you exactly what to offer so you don't overpay, and scores any used car out of 100 before you buy it: https://kittyexplainscars.gumroad.com/l/warroom

One of these levels is a trap. By the end, you'll know which one it is.

🔑 WHAT'S COVERED

"cla 0-100 in 7 secs" you sure? mine needs 9??

— @SKLP_111

Every Mercedes model ranked and compared — CLA vs C-Class, E-Class vs S-Class, G550 vs G63, AMG lineup, Maybach, and the $2.7M AMG ONE with an actual F1 engine. I go through pricing, depreciation, platform differences (front-wheel drive vs rear-wheel drive), best value picks at every level, and which models are worth buying new vs used.

Whether you're shopping for your first Mercedes or upgrading from a C-Class to an E-Class, this is the only breakdown you need.

but there is a GLS tho?

📌 KEY TAKEAWAYS

— Level 1 shares its platform with economy cars, not luxury ones

Is thia a computer speaking? What the fuck?

— @djfedezaza

— The jump from Level 1 to Level 2 is the biggest value gap in the entire lineup

— The C-Class rides on the same architecture as the S-Class

I actually prefer the GLB over the GLC

— @alexnowicki286

— Level 3 (E-Class) is the sweet spot for most buyers

— The S-Class is designed for the back seat, not the driver

I love my GLB

— @AsanKaliqAllah

— AMG engines are hand-built by a single technician

— The G-Wagon's door sound is literally trademarked

I thought there was an A-Class?

— @alsix666

— The AMG ONE can't be registered for normal road use in the US

👊 If this saved you from making the wrong call, subscribe. I break down cars and money the way they actually work — no brochure talk.

a entry level mercedes still drives softer then a similar priced vehicle from any other brand.
the depreciation is average and the 0-60 is 8 to 10s, not 7 at 43k
