too much Mama Mia. "When I'm Gone" is not called "Cups" "Children Will Listen" from INTO THE WOODS would have been a better choice.

No Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Little shop of horrors, into the woods or Rocky horror picture show... So sad.

Next: Judy Garland. Barbra was the new Judy. Yet you left out The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me in St. Louis, Easter Parade, The Harvey Girls, For Me and My Gal, Babes in Arms, The Pirate, Summer Stock, A Star Is Born, and her last, I Could Go On Singing. Some of the greatest musicals ever filmed—completely absent.

And where are the AFI-recognized masterpieces? According to the American Film Institute—the authority on film—here are the top 20 greatest movie musicals of all time:

I felt this was a lazy list! I was disappointed that Mama Mia was overused and the rich musical library of Rogers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Lowe and Sondheim certainly could have filled in those gaps.

Why use that version of Jellicle Cats?

I'm curious why you call this MOVIE musicals, but choose to use the live versions. Like Not using Hugh Jackman's Bring him home. If Copyright is the worry, you could have done shorter versions instead of the full song.

Hmmmmm….way too many Mamma Mia songs when they aren’t technically songs from musicals…..I guess that fits as most of these are from movies or TV appearances.

I like your compilation a lot of the songs you pick are in movie musicals so I see you probably were worried about copyright so you couldn't put fully movie ones at time. But I love your compilation. Lovely to watch and listen to.❤
