My comment doesn't really make a difference but, i see a lot of people fighting as sunnis or shias in the comment section, but its just my opinion that. The ones to be blamed for the murder or martyrdom of ahle bayt is nobody but yazid himself, and can also be considered Muawiyah. But other than these 2 and their army. Nobody is to be blamed for it. Hazrat Abu Bakar, Umar, Usman all were loyal to the prophet till the very end. And as far as Hazrat Ali, without him there's no islam, without Imam Hassan, Hussain, there's no islam, without all of ahl e bayt there's no islam

Am not defending Yazid ibn Mu'awiya but from my understanding and researching. yazid ordered UbaydAllah ibn Ziyad to not allow Hussain(r.a) to enter Kufa he pacifically told him not to harm them,long story short when hussain (r.a) found out that the people of kufa betrayed him, he gave 3 peace proposal options 1. To go back to Mecca 2. To go to Yazid himself and give Bay’a 3. To be sent to jihad. Ubayd ibn Ziyad consented to a peace proposal from Hussein but Shamir ibn Dhī al-Jawshan reportedly convinced Ubayd ibn Ziyad to subdue Hussein (r.a) with force.
Who is Shamir ibn Dhī al-Jawshan? he was a Shia, as recorded in both Sunni and Shia books. Shimr was part of the Shia giving bay’a and then he betrayed Sayyiduna Hussain and joined Yazid’s men, giving Hussain (r.a) the death-blow.

I thought it was Ubayd ibn Ziyad that poked the head of the Hussain (ra) not Yazid isn’t this false information

You know why all this happened? Because Yazid is the grandson of Abu Sufyan. If you are a Muslim you know exactly who Abu Sufyan is and which tribe he comes from. He tried to wipe out Muhammas and his family while Muhammad was alive but could not because of Ali Ibn Talib. But after Ali was assasinated by a man loyal to...guess who...Abu Sufyan's son... the rest of Muhammas's family were fair game. All of this was done to the house of Prophet Muhammad because Muslims allowed the Pagans to corrupt them. Very much like what is happening to Saudi Arabia today. Now you know the truth of who is a true follower of Muhammad and who is not. If you are Sunni, you are actively following the line of Abu Sufyan. You are betraying Muhammad every moment you remain Sunni.
