In this video, we look at the growing AI replacement fiasco: companies firing experienced workers, discovering that AI can handle tasks but not entire jobs, and then quietly rehiring humans at higher cost when things start falling apart. From Ford bringing back veteran “grey beard” engineers, to Klarna and McDonald’s walking back AI customer-service experiments, to bosses using chatbots as corporate oracles, this video argues that the real problem is not AI itself, but executives treating immature technology like a magical replacement for human judgment, experience, and responsibility.

00:00 Introduction
Yes, absolutely 💯 👏
01:33 The Boomerang
07:39 The Grey Beards (Ford)
AI is done by the best of the best, and any dev it replaced fully to be fired in the first place is absolute dogshit at their job, if they were fired cause of AI.
11:28 Cavities In Their Brains
17:24 The Next Wave (BBC)
Human should boycott AI used and training AI.

Shouldn't the biggest blame be put on the tech capitalists that sold everyone else the dystopia that AI could do these things? Rather than the CEOs for believing them? The investors are certainly to blame for blindly investing but they were sold a lie by the people that knew how it worked
More User Perspectives
Ed Zitron has been calling the addiction level of dependency on AI and the refusal to acknowledge reality outside the premasticated output of the machine "AI psychosis' for years now. Rather often in his "the era of the business idiot" rant from last year which starts with a similar tale about Microsofts Satya Nadella.
Also Ford firing 5000 people and then rehiring 350 people still sounds like a shitshow for the remaining 4650, even if we leave all that other nonsense aside.
There once was a dude who ate 430 something chicken nuggets which ended up with him being paralyzed. So if you stop at around 400 to 410 you should be ready to ascend to the next plain of existence
@yaboimagnus5845@2:59 I absolutely adore the way you express yourself. Subscribed!
@adiastar9815Your script is Ai though
@mohamedsakka2338Not the hp reference
@stargazzerrLet's face it, most of these companies and their CEOs would burn this planet to a crisp if it meant one final sale. They're a scourge. And one we should ostrasize in the name of human, and natural world, survival.
None of this was in service to our advancement or to generate wealth; it was merely the next stage in hoarding it.
AI should be a tool in a toolbox there if people need it. Not the entire pipeline/workflow
@duel1st632they played themselves while punishing their employees
@Onion_KnightsI believe what we're experiencing is often referred to as "Late Stage Capitalism"...🤔
Here's a reasonably succinct description:
Late-stage capitalism refers to the advanced phase of the capitalist system where profit accumulation intensifies at the cost of social equity, labor rights, and environmental sustainability.
Sound familiar?😳
So...
What can we expect in a future where humans are no longer employed; therefore, have no money to spend?
Who are these companies going to sell to outside of the military industrial complex?
What is that critical mass?
-- "Hunger Games" where human resources solely used to extract material resources?
-- "The Matrix" where the "machines" figured out that the only thing humans are good for is for siphoning their energy?
-- "Mad Max" where there's a total collapse of "Civilization", as we understand it, disintegrates replaced by "Every man for himself", today's mindset on steroids, where groups of barbarians fight and die for basic survival?
Yikes! 😳
Returning employee: "I need a salary that hedges against the probability that you'll fire me suddenly in a year's time again."
Why would workers trust management that does this.
It's almost like tech companies are selling managers on products that don't exist.
@littlestbroccoliThe irony of this videos script and art being done by Ai
@Kyt_01234I am very anti-AI. The world was functioning perfectly fine without it. Now we will lose basic human rights and resources with the continued expansion of AI, and data centers are a cancer to our planet.
@Zeldafan1ifyHmmmmm...... it almost sounds like you dont actually like AI.
@Qckid1THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY 🤩🥳💫⭐🌟✨⚡💥🎊
@aliadan22Noticing a LOT of Indian names in these reports. What a funny pattern. Wonder what's up with that?
@turnkey_holeWhat's really incredible is the clear use of AI to help write the script
@mistersanfordIf AI can do 60-90% of a job now, it wont be too long...
@ValarielI got fired last week because the AI was coming for my division. We are all being fired "for cause" so the company doesn't have to pay unemployment. They already removed our sister division, fired 5 of 12 people in my division, and they're going to fire my ex-manager in about 6 months.
@Sir_Arch1veif companies rehired a fraction of their fired employees, then we already have some productivity gain here
@shikida😬🇺🇸🇮🇱🕳️
@xhinotequeEthically speaking, AI should never be given any measurable power over a real people.
@RELOADEDEDERRemember when algorithmic chat bots were as advanced as it got?
@SpottablePants21213They don’t care about efficacy all that much, they’re just trying to show that they’re ~using ai~ to get more investor money for funding, or to increase their stock price on the public market.
@soupgirl123Uhhh…The pilot comparison is kinda dumb because you absolutely could fire a pilot mid flight and rehire them as most if not all commercial airliners have autopilot and most of them are capable of landing the plane. 😂
@AOG-LabsI love your way to verbalize my sentiment in a funny and very poignant way.
We have been lied to for decades: "get a degree, go to school, learn, work and climb the carreer ladder." Now anyone who learned a practical craft is looking more and more like having made a best choice over a getting degrees. Quality skilled labour is nowadays valued (rightfully) at similar hourly rates as most office jobs without the looming AI replacement threat around the corner. My degrees feel more and more hollow.
It only takes a few more people to operate any labor saving device.
To the unexperiencced experience has little value, but to the experienced it's very important.
"Will the adults stay long enough in the room for it to grow up" - they fired all the adults.
@orecruncher7930AI can’t even write a simple story without screwing up the characters names and timelines. I’m honestly not worried about it replacing my job.
@fanguy247b9I think AI like ChatGPT is amazing, i like how it can check my webcomic story and even inspire new ideas, and as an artist, while I really dislike AI art, for personal use, I see no problems, claiming you did it is a problem.
Now, the big problem I actually have isn't with a normal person that uses AI, but these rich idiots dropping 7 billion on failed AI projects, and then lecturing us on global warming when its these idiots causing it and acting like they even care, Ricky Gervais is absolutely right.
"You have no room to lecture the public about anything, most of you spent less time in school than Gretta Thumberg"
you lost me after you started promoting AI in this video lol wth
@tachitach_This is also a complete failure of the middle management, people who were incompetent, settled at the middle management layer.
@platipusduckbillLumo is literaly the least private ai but yeah go on and tell us about how ai lie about what they do
@Guido666mwm"Until you realise that the boomerang comes back holding an invoice." 🤣🤣
@kurtnelleWriting an anti ai video script with AI is pretty funny ngl
@fangirl1234fangirlNow train your replacement.
@robmalloryI just do not understand how they can be so short sided. They lay off the workforce who is going to buy their products.
@EmilyJonesANTIMLMThat's quick. I thought this will be realised only in years more. But if the rehiring is to train AI to again replace them in the near future, that is just sad.
@aishamohammadI am sick of business that use Automatic or bot agents to handle complaints, they can’t solve shit and waste my time to the point I sought out and switched to alternative services that actually let me talk to HUMAN customer service
@scurrystepsShe sounds like AI.
@alluallu7248Let's be completely honest middle management is a sector that can be completely removed.
And also CEOs since the board can just ask a chatbot itself what point does the CEO have if all they do is ask one.
But workers are a burden they no longer want, and customers are a necessity they'd like to get ride of.
@GodsDrugDealerdon't forget i talked to you COME TO TEXAS
@Green_Mondaygenuinely, is your script made with ai?
