The Animals - It's My Life

Video Overview & Insights

0:44

Born in doesn't matter' goes hard af still forever. Top 5 grunge? he used to break the ribbons in every microphone people still don't understand

— @newyorkmenace3322

It's a hard world to get a break in

All the good things have been taken

The women’s heads mounted on the wall is way creepy. Loved the band though.

— @tamerinkelly7693

But girl there are ways to make certain things pay

Though I'm dressed in these rags, I'll wear sable some day

love the animals & especially love this song, BUT wtf is with that poor woman’s head as a hunting trophy?!! disturbing…

— @TAM___tam678

Hear what I say

I'm gonna ride the serpent

How about the Rickenbacker 😮

— @Jeffcatbuckeye

No more time spent sweatin' rent

Hear my command

👍👍👍❤❤❤

— @ШтукатурПлитка

It ain't no use, I'm breakin' loose,

Holdin' me down, stick around

🖤🖤🖤🤘🏻

— @Earthgoddess45

But baby (baby)

Remember (remember)

A classic song, but the back scenery..... A little creepy.

— @artlover1477

It's my life and I'll do what I want

It's my mind and I'll think what I want

I just texted my daughter that I found her a job. She probably won't watch it though. 🤪😜

— @phil20_20

Show me I'm wrong, hurt me sometime

But some day I'll treat you real fine

I remember saying that my oldest son looked exactly like Eric Burdon in 2012 when he was only 3 years old. Now, he's almost 18 and is a spitting image. If I was to put a photo next to Burdon, you could barely tell the difference.

— @josepharmstrong402

There'll be women and their fortunes

Who just want to mother orphans

Absolutely brilliant band. Eric Burdon was born on this day ( May 11th) 1941. Happy birthday Eric Burdon.

— @shawnamunyer9680

Are you gonna cry

When I'm squeezing them dry?

Jesus puberty hit that boy like a truck

— @Prawnlet

Taking all I can get

No regrets

"Though I'm dressed in these rags, I'll wear Hoodrich, some day...."
Iconic lyrics.

— @DrinkinDaJuice

When I ... openly lie

And live on their money

They really set the pace for 60's pop music. I like the burp at the end

— @gstranman9677

Believe me honey, that money

Can you believe, I ain't no saint

The Animals were hands down as good as The Beatles. Eric was badass.

— @MsGreekmama

No complaints

So girl go out

Mc' kinglee córtese esas pastillas...hypiee

— @AldoGarcía-i9q

Any doubt

And baby (baby)

60s standouts.....One of many, in my birthday decade....Also covered 😊

— @NeilMcGrory

Remember (remember)

It's my life and I'll do what I want

Before Jim Morrison there was Eric Burden.

— @markgigiel2722

It's my mind and I'll think what I want

Show me I'm wrong, hurt me sometime

Eric burden was a freak. I know he's still alive but he was a twisted se@ addict. The girls heads on the wall as a trophy is disturbing.

— @arthurwatt5162

But some day I'll treat you real fine

(It's my life and I'll do what I want) Don't push me

Songs like Mick Jagger big time!

— @Steve-Potaz

(It's my mind and I'll think what I want) It's my life

(It's my life and I'll do what I want) And I can do what I want

ROGER ATKINS AND CARL D' ERRICO

— @trajanoJunior-e2d

(It's my mind and I'll think what I want) You can't tell me

(It's my life and I'll do what I want)

That 12 string Rickenbacker sounds so cool & of course everything about this song is cool.

Now the producers of the show would be put in jail for presenting women heads like hunt trophies 😂😂😂

Not hard rock yet, but already carrying its soul. Eric Burdon’s voice and attitude made this a quiet rebellion — personal, dark, and timeless.

Really Great

@AlanCole-c8w
@

Looks like Eric put in an extra line in the first verse and screwed up Chas and Hilton, but they looked at each other with a smirk and recovered quickly. First time playing the song and I guess they were still working out the arrangement, LOL!

@MarCeeJay1
@

He had the most intense and expressive voice. Just amazing.

@1rhpsfan
@

Is that George Maharis from the TV show "Route 66" with Martin Milner (later in "Adam-12")

@ronaldzent6321
@

One of the greatest bands of the 60s. These guys as well as the Stones and others were in their early-mid 20s when they wrote these songs. There must've been some magic in the water.

@imbaroo2264
@

Epic Group they should have been so famous? The Anamials
